VILLA SARAH TENUTA MELOGRANI SAN GIMIGNANO
The Villa, obtained from a careful and meticulous restoration.
Particular attention was paid in order to ensure guest an unforgettable stay and find their “home away from home”. Villa Sarah has been restored with valuable materials such as ancient handmade terracotta, bathrooms completely in travertine and kitchens in Carrara marble “calacatta”, chestnut beams and fixtures in fine local cypress wood.
Villa Sarah enjoys spectacular views of the famous towers of San Gimignano.
A large garden surrounds the entire structure and also the four-sided infinity pool,16 meters for 6, with spa whirlpool, ( open from March 30 to October 30) made with valuable stone of Cardoso, renowned local stone.
Next to the swimming pool is an outbuilding of about 110 sqm with large panoramic terrace, equipped outdoor kitchen, bbq, bar area, relaxation area and a large table to enjoy outdoor dining.
Immersed in the tranquility of this enchanting place, guests can enjoy the atmosphere of the past but enjoying the maximum modern comfort.
Villa Sarah enjoys an exciting and unique panorama just a few meters as the crow flies from the famous towers of San Gimignano.
Villa Sarah was designed for meetings of large families with children, or for groups of friends.
The owners, will be happy to welcome you with a big welcome buffet, in an authentic Tuscan atmosphere and to assist you for all your needs throughout your stay.

San Gimignano, that it is just 2 km away, for people that love trekking or just want to do a good walk is reachable on foot through the renowned vineyards of Vernaccia.

We suggest to rent a car at your arrival at the airport or trough the rentalshop near the Villa, to be indipendent for little trips like going to the supermarkets, going to the city of San Gimignano or the city of Poggibonsi.

We loved our stay at Villa Sarah. The place is great for a group as all rooms are similar size with their own bathroom. The service by the team was also great. It was situated the right proximity from the town. We had no complaints. It gets ton of sun and an amazing place for relaxing in the Tuscan sun.

The villa was in good condition. The Tuscan countryside is beautiful and you can see the towers of San Gimignano on the hillside. The website discusses walking to San Gimignano. That is a reality if you are in your 20’s and in great shape. It is all UPHILL and a long way away. It may be an estimated 2 KM but that is as the crow flys. NOT WALKABLE. Transport is a BIG issue. RENT A CAR!!!!! It will cost €120 for roundtrip transportation to San Gimignano which is about a 6 minute car ride. There are also limited choices for drivers. BOOK EARLY and rent a car!!!!
The POOL is lovely and inviting but NOT HEATED. It was very cold and Almost unusable. The chef for dinner did a great job. Best ribs we have ever had. You are NOT allowed to being in your own chef so don’t research anything else.
