One of the best VRBOs we have stayed in lately that actually matches its description. Was a little leery at first because the exterior is not kept up as well as the interior, but that might be due to the harsh conditions of beach. Most of the other homes in the area were very similar. AC was exceptionally working, which was unusual for us, however the pet accommodations could do with some improvement. For example, the deck areas should have some sort of lattice or screening in front to prohibit the dogs from going underneath it which ours did and the front gate had a gap that if you had a small dog would’ve easily gotten out onto the main road. Love the place though and its proximity to the beach and the event that we went to Destin for. Looking forward to booking it again next year.

Very clean and great location to the beach but the surroundings directly next to this one were less desirable. Property wasn't adequately marked which made it difficult to find the exact townhouse.Needed a few things: Rugs at entrances, oven needs fixing, and a TV in the bedroom facing the beach and the weeds poison oak/ivy needs to be cleaned up

The location is a short distance to the beach which is great. The house is very nice inside. The outside of the buildings would make you think differently but seems like there is some remodeling going on in the townhouses next door. The painters working next door smoked weed all day so we could not enjoy sitting out back with the kids and our vehicles wreaked of it when we got in them to leave. The place is infested in fleas. We had them jumping on us while we drank our coffee sitting at the table out front in the morning. I picked 18 fleas off my dog and 6 more came off when I bathed her. She did not have any when we arrived. The bathroom tub drain does not drain well and is cloggy. Bring your own shampoos and soaps as they say they provide but they do not replenish them from the previous renters. We had a battery go dead in the door lock at 430am and continue to beep. We had to use earplugs to go back to sleep. We called vacasa when it happened they said they would send someone to fix it after 9am. Well, they never called or showed to fix it and it eventually set a high pitch alarm off in the afternoon. We called them back and they sent someone over within 30 minutes. It was just really annoying. The washer and dryer are outside in a closet- so you get wet in the rain to go change it out. We have stayed on the emerald coast many times and had way better experiences with no issues. Overall the stay was okay for the price we paid. Would not stay here again.
