Lovely detached house located in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

Great getaway with family and friends. Nearby attractions include Nuneaton Museum and Art gallery, Hoar Park children's farm, and Hartshill Hayes country park.

Short drive from Birmingham NEC, University of Warwick, and Royal Leamington Spa. Good access routes to Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester.

Host was great at contact and very helpful. We had a number of problems that we informed the host about on departure. We were there for two nights and felt the issues could not be resolved during our stay but the host was unhappy that we didn’t inform them about issues sooner. We didn’t feel that the property was adequately cleaned. Downstairs was clean but the bedrooms and bathrooms weren’t very clean at all. Two rooms upstairs smelt of smoke. Outside there was overflowing rubbish, broken glass on the patio and grass, an overflowing ashtray and cigarette ends all over the floor area next to the property. There was a leaking radiator in the hall way and the radiators made loud banging noises throughout our stay. We ended up turning them off. We couldn’t find any dishwasher tablets or clean cloths/sponges and ended up cleaning some rooms before we put the kids in them. The downstairs room had loose cables etc over the floor. This room had a 1 year old in it and we had to try and block off that area. The upstairs rooms with no blinds was a huge problem and we had to put bin bags against the windows so the young children could sleep. We had very young children staying at the property and felt that it wasn’t suitable for families. The property had clearly been used for a party prior to our stay and had not been. We informed the host about the problems and they have informed us that they will look at resolving the issues.

Thank you so much for having myself and my friends in your beautiful home. The house is really big and the kitchen living area is great for a big group. There was 16 of us and we had plenty of room. The owner was really great at communication and when we were trying to work out the heating and oven, they answered super quick and helped us work it out. We really enjoyed our stay and the photos don’t do it justice.
