About this villa rental
Large stone villa in the Tuscan countryside in Lucardo, on the edge of Chianti. Furnished in characteristic rustic country style, the villa offers all amenities and is perfect for a family or group of friends.
Outside, the house is surrounded by a large garden with a beautiful pool and a barbecue area. The garden offers a splendid, panoramic view of the surrounding nature and countryside.
The owners live in an adjacent unit, and are always available to provide any help guests may need, as well as excellent recommendations for a smooth Chianti holiday. They have a separate entrance to their unit and do not share any of the guests’ outdoor spaces.
The property’s location is excellent for visiting the main cities and areas of Chianti and Tuscany, such as San Gimignano, Castelfiorentino, Florence, Siena, Lucca and the Tuscan coast.
At guests’ disposal: 5 bedrooms, all with air conditioning; large, well-tended garden that is completely enclosed; above-ground pool (9 x 4 m; depth: 1,2 m) for guests’ exclusive use; panoramic views; free WIFI internet; parking within the grounds; portico with panoramic views for dining outside; portable barbecue and wood-burning oven.
Distances: Lucardo (restaurant and pizzeria) 2 km, Fiano (small food shops, pharmacy, bar, pizzeria, post office and bank) 2,5 km, Montespertoli (shops of all kinds) 9 km, Certaldo 11 km, San Gimignano 23 km, Florence 40 km, Siena 46 km, Pisa and Lucca about 80 km, the Tuscan coast (Livorno, Tirrenia, Castiglioncello, Cecina) about 100 km.

2 steps down: bright living room (TV) with outdoor access (the fireplace is not functional)

First floor: double bedroom with bathtub and shower attachment (no window), 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower (no window).
6 steps down: double bedroom, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower
There is air conditioning in all 5 bedrooms.
The following might be to be paid extra: Electricity, Final Cleaning, Heating, Pets, Refundable Security Deposit in cash, Tourist tax.

Location was excellent with superb views across Tuscany.
Fairly easy access from there for Florence or Siena.
Villa fairly basic but more than adequate for our group of 6.

We stayed with friends and family (6 adults and 6 kids) and it was perfect for us. Dinner outside with a view on the vineyard. Quiet rooms. Nice pool. Perfect!
Only cons (if you care about it) is distance to any decent city (45min).
