About this house rental
“Neon Fish” is a private, contemporary 2 bedroom home that sits proud on a beautiful sandy bluff with big ocean drama, an endless sky scape and wonderful wildlife home to whales, seals, sea birds and more. Winter, spring, summer or fall...Every season truly has its own beauty.
As you enter Neon Fish, you’ll be immediately and pleasantly surprised by the ocean views at every turn!!!
Neon Fish is ideal for couples celebrating a special occasion, two couples seeking a place to spend time together and absolutely perfect if you want to escape life’s every day stresses and explore the California Northern Coast in style. The views from the house are truly stunning and the Sonoma Coast is beyond beautiful!
The upper level of the house is an open floor plan with an easy flow from living room to dining to kitchen. The kitchen is easy to navigate, complete with spices, oils, condiments, an outdoor grill nearby and everything you could possibly need to make a delicious meal. There are two fireplaces on the upper floor, one wood burning in living room and an auto fire in kitchen/dining.
The lower level has 2 bedrooms separated by a spiral staircase for privacy—both equally nice with floor to ceiling ocean views, their own decks, en suite bathrooms and comfortable high end bedding.
*Door on the lower level/ocean side of the home separates the bedrooms and opens to a private sandy bluff.
Enjoy all of the property's outdoor space—both oceanfront and a private courtyard with outdoor seating, fire pit, a backdrop of beautiful coastal trees and more ocean views.
For dusk/evening glamour and a change of mood…The Neon Fish vintage art piece fills the living room with a pink glow. Stargazing is incredible and the moon in all its phase’s is beautiful without any light pollution from the surrounding area.
The spa/sun room is one of the favorite rooms in the house. It has a large spa tub w/ recycling fresh water (no chemicals) that stays heated at 103 degrees, sliding doors that open wide to the ocean view, a rain shower adjacent to the tub and a moonlight over the tub to complete the experience. It’s a perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of the coast any time of the day or night.
Just minutes away from Neon Fish is StillWater Cove Beach and across the way you’ll find an old growth redwood/ fern forest trail with creeks, birdsong and a variety of flora and fauna.
A get-away to Neon Fish will be an experience you’ll never forget!

This home is absolutely beautiful, the décor, views, and thoughtful touches make it feel truly special. The books, decor, speakers, and kitchen were all wonderful. Views are just remarkable. Unfortunately, the cleanliness wasn’t great for the total cost of the stay. It was evident many things weren’t cleaned for a long time. There was noticeable dust/hair/debris/cobwebs/spiders throughout the house like on toilets, seating areas, coffee station, books, shelves, floors, outlets, and switches. Plugging in a charger often meant running into webs. Sitting up in bed against the headboard and using the blankets provided were uncomfortable due to the layers of dust. The toaster area hadn’t been cleaned since prior guests. We spent a fair amount of energy avoiding touching and stepping into these things. The downstairs bathrooms are very outdated. I asked about cleanliness before our stay and was told not to expect the same as at home, but I did expect standard cleaning.After checkout, we were also charged an extra 30 cleaning fee and didn’t get a clear answer as to why. We followed all instructions and were told the housekeeper will handle the rest. We even spent a lot of time tidying up before leaving.

We throughly enjoyed our stsy at Neon Fish. Thr home did not feel like a typical rental home. It felt more like you are staying at a friend’s vacation home.The furnishing and artwork are thoughfully selected and highend. There us a view out of every window of the pacific coast. The kitchen is well equiped. Our host, Kim, was very responsive and helpful. We would love to visit again.
