About this apartment rental
Maalaea Surf, Unit A5 is a 2-bedroom beachfront townhouse on the second floor which offers our guest total privacy. It is located directly on the beach. This condo features everything including central AC, Wi-Fi, TV, fully furnished kitchen, 2 outdoor pools, tennis and pickleball courts, convenient parking, two BBQ areas and washer/dryers onsite.
Enjoy ocean front outdoor living on your spacious private patio (lanai) while watching Maui's breath-taking sunsets. The beautiful beaches fronting the property offers not only spectacular views but also outstanding swimming, snorkeling and kayaking and are perfect for leisurely walks or jogging. The maximum occupancy allowed in this unit is 6. All units at Maalaea Surf are non-smoking.
Our property is NOT impacted by the recent news regarding potential short-term rental (STR) restrictions in Maui. Because we are zoned as a hotel property, we are exempt from the County of Maui's proposed STR regulations.

We've stayed here a few times before and love the quiet atmosphere and location. Everything was close to perfect and we knew what to expect. There are only a few minor areas we would hope improve before our next visit. 1) How about soft plush Down pillows? We were reminded how flat those that were provided were... on a previous stay. 2) Fix the tv downstairs or simplify the double remote system. Not a huge problem cuz that's not why we are in Maui but still, for the price we are paying, yes, we expect the tv to function. The one upstairs works just fine. Overall, We'll probably return but it would be nice if the prices would drop for repeat visitors.

I stayed 2 weeks. The grounds were beautiful! The condo was very nice and well stocked. The only negatives were that the unit smelled very musty and the washer/dryer was not in the building.

Incredible view! Condo grounds are beautiful and well kept. Great sandy beach for long walks and swimming. Very quiet when we were there. Convenient location.
