The Windlooper vacation home is located in the idyllic little fishing village of Wieck, not far from the town center with the Darßer Arche National Park Center, charming cafés, and the Bodden. Brand-new, this designer home—comprising two semi-detached units—offers a modern contrast to the thatched-roof cottages typical of the Darß region, yet blends harmoniously into the townscape. Wieck is best explored on foot from here. Cycling and hiking trails also branch out in all directions, leading to the Darß primeval forest, the western beach, the Baltic Sea resorts, or the Bodden.
About the Semi-Detached House
As soon as you enter, you can see what sets this wonderful vacation home apart. Clean lines, high-quality materials, and light colors. The design theme—already evident on the exterior thanks to the distinctive architecture—continues seamlessly into the interior. The spacious living and kitchen area is the heart of the home. The simple design language and understated decor create a modern and timeless living experience that never feels uncomfortable. Quite the contrary—the fireplace, the sofa, and the recliner by the floor-to-ceiling windows ensure a pleasant sense of coziness.
The kitchen is equipped with everything your heart desires. This way, even on vacation, you can cook just like at home, prepare fresh fish, and chat together at the large dining table. The first floor is rounded out by a first shower room and the in-house sauna. Various infusions are even available for a soothing sauna experience. All it takes is a two-euro coin in the coin-operated machine to relax after a long walk on the beach.
The stairs lead up to the upper floor and the sleeping area. Both bedrooms feature a high-quality box-spring bed, a wardrobe, storage space, and a TV. Subtle colors and small accents, such as the decorative cranes and pillows, add style and coziness without distracting from the restful atmosphere. A second modern bathroom with natural light, a shower, and a bathtub rounds out the living comfort perfectly.
The outdoor area features a well-maintained garden and an adjoining stone terrace, which invites you to spend time outside, especially during the warm summer months. An e-bike charging station, two car parking spaces, and lockable bike storage in the garden shed are also available.
