Haus Weißdorn, completed in 2023, is located in the heart of the idyllic fishing village of Wieck. For those who haven’t yet discovered Wieck—this village, steeped in tradition, is hard to beat when it comes to natural beauty. With its vast meadows, the Bodden lagoon, and the national park right on its doorstep, this gem offers a variety of opportunities for hiking, biking, or a relaxing Baltic Sea vacation far away from the hustle and bustle. Charming cafés, authentic seafood restaurants, and small art galleries can be discovered along the village streets. A popular destination is the Wieck harbor. Here, in addition to the best fish sandwiches on the Darß, you’ll also find a magnificent view of the Bodden.

This vacation home, typical of the Darß region, exudes a modern yet incredibly cozy atmosphere that makes you feel welcome right away. Every piece of furniture was lovingly selected by the owners. Thanks to the many lattice windows, the natural wood furniture, and the creative color scheme, an airy and relaxed living atmosphere has been created that offers space for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The centerpiece of the house is the open-concept living area, which skillfully combines the kitchen, dining table, and lounge. Cooking enthusiasts, in particular, are sure to be delighted by this kitchen. A kitchen island, a social counter, and state-of-the-art appliances offer just as much comfort as you’d find at home. The large dining table provides space for family and friends to eat and chat. Meanwhile, two spacious sofas in front of the fireplace and TV set the stage for the cozy part of the day. Speaking of comfort: The in-house sauna is also located on the first floor. It’s a highlight—especially on cold, blustery Baltic Sea days—that provides additional relaxation. The natural-light bathroom with a shower and the utility room with a washer and dryer round out the lower level.
The stairs lead up to the three cozy bedrooms. Each is equipped with a high-quality box-spring bed and storage space for clothing. Blackout curtains ensure that you won’t be woken by the first rays of sunlight. One of the bedrooms features a desk that can be used as a workspace. Thanks to high-speed internet, Haus Weißdorn is also ideal for a “workation” if you want to combine vacation and work. The rooftop terrace is accessible from two of the bedrooms and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding thatched-roof cottages.
The outdoor area features a spacious stone terrace surrounded by greenery. Thanks to the modern seating, you’ll find a cozy spot here under the open sky to enjoy your first coffee of the day or simply relax. An electric grill is available for summer barbecuing. Haus Weißdorn also includes three parking spaces and a bike shed, which houses the solar system for hot water. An electric car can be charged using the included wall box.
