Completely renovated in June 2024, Casa Mama Blu is a charming designer studio flat in the heart of Sorrento. The location is unbeatable: just a few steps from Piazza Lauro and the Circumvesuviana station, it is the ideal strategic base for enjoying the local sea and moving comfortably towards the Amalfi Coast.
The flat is located on the first floor of a condominium with a lift. The entrance, characterised by a welcoming LED sign "Torna a Surriento", is a shared space with the adjacent accommodation and offers guests a washing machine and a convenient luggage storage.
Inside, the space enchants with its furnishings inspired by the colours of the Mediterranean and Sorrento lemons.
The bedroom boasts a memory foam double bed, a fitted wardrobe with safe and Vietri majolica bedside tables.
The bathroom, modern and bright, is complete with a spacious walk-in shower.
In the verandah area, a small kitchenette has been cleverly created with induction hobs, a mini-fridge, kettle and toaster.
Leaving the house you will find yourselves immersed in the lively and authentic Sorrentine atmosphere. The neighbourhood offers everything you need within reach.
With a very short walk you will be on Corso Italia, the heart of city life, perfect for treating yourselves to an outdoor coffee, shopping or simply letting yourselves be lulled by the charm and scents of Sorrento.

• Late Check-in: for arrivals from 21:00 onwards, a supplement of €30 is charged. For arrivals from 23:00 onwards, the supplement is €50.

• Parking: The structure offers conventional parking right in front of the building at £20 per day.

The studio apartment was bright, cheery, and clean. It had minimal amenities- shampoo and lotion, but that was ok for us. As Americans we like our morning coffee and there was an electric kettle, bialetti, and a French press. There were espresso pods, but no machine. The kitchenette is tiny - move the chair to open the cabinet door tiny- but that was ok. Same on closet side-move the nightstand to open the closet door more than a crack.
Bed was comfortable, aircon worked great, hot shower. Very little street noise.
The location was Great! A two block walk from the train station; a pizzeria, gelateria / restaurant, and cafeteria espresso bar all on the same street. Very nice.
The downside 1) the noise from neighbors-grinding coffee? pounding out grounds into the trash? on the bed wall side at 5 am everyday, 2) there were no hangers for our clothes in the closet. We had to pile our clothes in the bottom of the closet. We asked for hangers and got no response. I saw this complaint on another review, so I thought it might have been taken care of, but no.
Listing discrepancies: Didn't see a safe, not that we felt we needed it.The balcony is enclosed, and is one and the same as the kitchenette. I suppose you could walk into the empty closet and close the door, but that's about it.
