Accommodation was super close to the train station and overall a great location. Host sent a walking video on how to get to the apartment and where to pick up the keys from a near by shop (very helpful and took the confusion away). Apartment was clean, confortable and bright. Host was quick to repond to any questions and was very helpful.

Excellent location, clean (except for a couple of minor things) spacious, comfortable, good facilities. Felt we were in a safe place.

There were a lot of insects coming out of the drain in the shower. No hooks in the bathroom. Washing up sponge was dirty and stunk ( we bought new ones). No T towels. No bedside lamps. Minor things that could be easily rectified.

The beds were comfortable, the host was very communicative, we had a problem with the hot water on the first night and she was very responsive and sorted the situation quickly. The location was very good, a stones throw from the train station, easy walking distance from all the areas of Sorrento that we wanted to get to, the apartment had a reasonably open and airy feel to it. The fridge was clean, it had an induction hob, the washing machine was a bonus as we were travelling light and needed to wash clothes as we wore them. There is a lift up to the apartment on the 4th floor. It was relatively quiet, some light road noise and the occasional train but no loud music etc.

The building is tired, there is a key for the building front door but it was never locked/didn't seem to be lockable, the foyer of the building definitely would benefit from some TLC to make it a bit more inviting given it is where first impressions were made. The apartment was not particularly clean, on arrival there was a dirty dish cloth and sponge which we had to throw out and replace, the washing machine needed to go on for a clean cycle, we had to pre wash all kitchen ware that we wanted to use as it was dirty, some of the kitchenware was not in a great state of repair/fit for purpose, the settee in the communal area had stains on it and definitely needs a clean, the bed clothes were slightly stained. In the kitchen, a bread knife was the only sharp knife! This made cooking some of our own meals challenging as we had to cut vegetables up with a small serrated table knife, my wife cut her finger trying to do so as they aren't really fit for that purpose. The air conditioning, particularly in the main back bedroom, was average at best, despite being on 17, the room never got cooler than about 24-25 degrees, I think the one in the smaller bedroom was more effective. The flush button for the toilet leaked water which dripped down the wall, the shower cubicle looked grotty and mouldy around the trimming. Only one toilet roll was provided for a 6 night stay. A quirk with the boiler meant that the tap in the kitchen and the bathroom sink did not generate sufficient flow to trigger the boiler so in order to get hot water from either of these taps, another tap would have to be running at the same time. We stayed in 3 apartments in Italy and this was both the most expensive per night by some way and also the poorest presented by some way. All have been in great locations but location can't carry a property entirely. The booking.
