Sea Breeze Beautiful Oceanfront Townhome in Kure

This is a wonderful oceanfront townhome located in family friendly Kure Beach. It is beautifully decorated and clean, with a lot of attention to detail and comfort. It has been fully renovated inside and combines all the modern conveniences with the charm, comfort and solid construction of a beach home as they used to be built.

In this home, you can save your energy for the things that matter. There is no lugging baggage, groceries and other items up flights of stairs just to get to the front door. Just three steps and you are in the house. On the ocean side, just two steps down and your feet are in the sand. This is beach living the easy way. It is especially nice for children, those who might have difficulty with stairs or those who just want to rest. It is the perfect place for a family vacation, a romantic get away, a girlfriend's reunion or anyone longing for the renewal of spirit that comes from a stay at the beach. There is a minimum age limit for rental 25 years and party groups are not permitted.

We want to make sure you have a wonderful beach vacation when you are staying. If there is ever anything you need that you don't see at the home and we will try our best to accommodate you. We do provide the core essential things you may need while staying but want to make sure you know what is there.

Beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers are not provided

We include linen/towel service for your stay. This includes the beds will be made up and ready, towels for 8 people.

Please note that dogs are not permitted on the beach in Kure Beach between April 1st and September 30th. In Carolina Beach they are not allowed from 9 am to 5 pm from April 1st to September 30th. If you would like to bring your small to medium-sized non-aggresive dog, no bigger than 65 lbs, we do charge a fee. Sorry, no cats or other animals. Dogs must be crated when you are not there.

There is one dedicated free parking spot and one first come first serve shared guest spot. There is street parking available. Please see the Town of Kure Beach for parking fees and dates when the fee is active.

Direct access to the beach.

We live in Carolina Beach, just down the road and am highly available. If we are out of town, we will provide backup resources to help you with whatever you may need.

Kure Beach provides the best of everything. Whenever you are ready to venture out, Kure Beach offers beautiful, clean and uncrowded beaches just a few steps from the porch. There are lifeguard stations nearby and the Kure Beach pier is only a few blocks away. High-rises are not allowed in Kure Beach. It retains much of its small coastal town charm while providing many opportunities and activities just moments from your door. Kure Beach has several good restaurants and convenience stores. Grocery stores and pharmacies are only a few minutes away at Carolina Beach.

There is no public transportation on the island, but taxi cabs are available and Uber and Lyft is typically available with pretty quick responses. Sun Fun Rentals also offers a fun golf cart taxi service to take you anywhere you want on the island.

On the first floor, you will find a bedroom and bath, and an open kitchen/living area with a TV, a bar that seats four, a coffee table with four seats that doubles as a game table or additional dining space for children, and other comfortable seating. Four TV's with Roku or FireStick Streaming Sticks. Both types of sticks have Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. The kitchen is fully equipped, to include all major and minor appliances, with a smooth top cooking surface, microwave, and regular ovens, disposal, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, standard coffee pot, toaster, and blender. There is also an ocean side covered porch with a table for six to provide additional dining space. The porch has built-in benches and chairs for your comfort. There are an outdoor shower and water faucet attached to the porch.

On the second floor, you will find two bedrooms, a bath and French doors that lead to an ocean side balcony. Oceanside balcony has a swing and a pair of high chairs to provide amazing views of the beach and area around.

Whether you choose the porch or the balcony, both have wonderful views of the ocean and are ideal for watching the children play, people on the beach and the waves rolling in. You can enjoy the magnificent sunrises or watch the moon and stars without the glare of city lights.

You will find a washer and dryer on the second floor and a vacuum cleaner. The living area in each bedroom has an overhead fan as well as lamps for more cozy atmosphere. There is a TV in each bedroom.
Pets must be crated when you're not there. Large dogs or other animals are NOT allowed.

In case of Hurricanes - if there is a mandatory evacuation, then only for the days of the mandatory evacuation, a credit will be provided for a future stay. If you are concerned about travel during the hurricane season and it possibly affecting your stay then please protect your trip with Travel Insurance. Search on Google, there are many companies that offer that service.

NO SMOKING - Inside or on the oceanside decks, or the sandy area by the back decks.

Infants are OK, but we currently do not have a crib. You would have to bring your own crib. I may be able to find one if needed.

City noise ordinance is 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Kure Beach ordinance does not allow dogs on the beach between April 1st and October 1st. Both Kure Beach and Carolina Beach have dog parks. You can also take dogs on a leash to the north and south ends of Pleasure Island if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and the required permit to access them.
