This charming, rustic two-bedroom, one-bathroom log cabin is located on Birch Lake near Elk Rapids. It's an ideal vacation spot for a small family or a couple. You'll love the clear blue colors and firm sandy bottom of this all-sports lake. The main area of the home consists of an open living room, kitchen, and dining space.
The porch outside is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and is sure to help you unwind. The yard is spacious enough for kids and dog to play. Additionally, there's a dock, shared waterfront and water toys, and a cozy fire pit.
This property is conveniently close to the Great Lakes Equestrian Horse Show, Turtle Creek Casino, and Elk Rapids. Traverse City is just a short 15-minute drive away.
One well-behaved pet is allowed, but owners must clean up after their pets.
Need more space? Rent one or both of the other Trick's Resort cottages: Trick's Lodge and Red Cottage.

This is an old cabin and looks as such. It is clean- has the basic amenities and is a great peaceful location to explore the area. The dock is aged and the resident duck's use it quite a bit so not necessarily a barefoot beach dock area but the sunsets are wonderful and the water is nice once you het out a bit.

My husband and I rented this cabin for a few days and loved it. We brought our dog, who had a great time in the shallow water in front of the cabin. There is no air conditioning, and it did get a little warm during the day, but the nights were fine. We had one box fan and there is a ceiling fan, but one more fan would have been nice. The cabin was clean and the location is great. There is a fire pit to have a bonfire, but we didn’t get the chance to use it. The roof is tin and when it rains, it’s quite loud, but I liked the noise. Overall a great find for northern Michigan!

The cabin is listed NEW in its title. It is far from new. Its not a bad cabin if you just want peace and quiet, but know there is not WIFI, TV's or AC. The cabin as a whole was clean but the sofa bed was DISCUSTING!! The lake was very peaceful!!
