Clean, up to date fixtures and decor. Would have been nice to know the grill was charcoal so we could be better prepared. No wifi services

Happy with our stay in this updated cabin in the woods. We did haul a boat and if others plan to do so this is off the beaten path. Had no trouble getting in, we just went nice and slow. Really wish we had WiFi but we all survived without it. But harder to look up places to go and things to do. Had fun watching some of the old movies. Really wish there were a few discs to play disc golf. My teenagers would have had fun trying that out. We always like to stay somewhere quiet and this was great. Wish a few more windows opened. Overall happy with the place.

It's easier to just list pros and cons, so here it goes:Pros: House was cleanBig bathroomMultiple towels and blanketsNice layoutPlenty of board games in moviesWelcome s'mores making kitDog leash, toy, and bowl availableBeach chairsBeds comfortableNice window for viewing Big dining room tableUtensils for cooking over the fireFridge produces a lot of ice The futon couch is very comfortable when laid outCons:Charcoal grill onlyPatio area practically in the woods and far away from the houseGrass was very tall, not supposed to drive on grass, so had to walk through tall grass when entering and exiting the house.No Keurig Master bed is very small Couch is uncomfortable, has a piece of plywood under the cushionsHas a washer and dryer but you can't use themThe lock on the side door was very difficult to get unlocked and enter the house! Locking and unlocking the main gait when entering and leavingJacuzzi tub didn't work when taking a bathNo WIFI Small TVOnly one heating/cooling unit in the dining area for the entire house. SPIDERS!!! We stayed 3 nights and on the last day we say 5 spiders in the house! I understand we are in the woods but it's obviously been a problem for some time. There is a book where travelers have written messages during their stay and in 2023 someone mentioned spiders being an issue!
