A beautifully renovated home conveniently located in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island, Getaway By The Bay is exactly what it sounds like – a luxury rental that overlooks the Bay. The kitchen is massive and features sweeping granite countertops, a full suite of appliances, and a large kitchen island that doubles as a breakfast bar for two. The dining room is stunning. The rounded, natural wood table allows for easy conversation amongst diners. The living room is charming and features a dark blue couch, two contrasting, yellow armchairs, and a flat-screen TV. The entire level is flooded with natural light from the large windows and two double sliding glass doors. The screened-in balcony on this floor is spacious and has outdoor couches and armchairs. Stay was excellent most of the time. The commode seat was broke when we arrived, pinched my leg. The person who my husband talked to was very rude and let us know that the toilet seat was not an emergency. i get that, but no need to be rude. Two kitchen chairs were cracked, but no harm done, just made sure the company knew not to charge me for damage i didn't do. The upstairs bed is not comfortable at all. no other complaints, the stay was in a beautiful place and my family really liked having a house, not a condo.

There was a great deal of room to spread out. The screened porch was our favorite place from coffee in the morning to relaxing time after the kids were in bed. The garage parking was a problem du.nnnnarralleyaccessaccess.problem

I will start this by saying we would stay here again, but we did have some issues. First was the pool. The heater/spa worked on the first night, but at some point in the next day or 2 it stopped working and the pool filter component was leaking. Reported the leaking and later that the spa was not working. The pool component was replaced on Wed night of our stay and was reported that there was an issue with a temperature component that needed approval to fix. It was not fixed before our stay ended. The pool got really cold since it never gets any sun. It made the pool use later in the week not too great plus we were without the spa as well. The beds were not the best and a few of us did not sleep well. It was certainly odd that the 2nd master bedroom only had a tub, but we knew that going in. The kitchen was a little more sparse than other places we have rented (for example kitchen utensils), but we managed. The week was good though. I enjoyed seeing the sunrise from the house and the beach was just a short walk. The size of the house worked well for my family.
