quit, peaceful, renew yourself, down in the woods, warm inviting. place to just enjoy the outdoors. It might change your life. It did mine! bring a book and listen to how peaceful the outside world can be. 4 miles to downtown mentone.3 milestone the falls. one mile from Desoto state park.

It seems like this place is/was loved, but maybe the owner hasn’t been around for awhile. Outside there were old rugs covered with debris, wet cushions just thrown around, and it felt like nobody had been there to care for the property. There was an odd smell. The bathrooms and kitchen were really clean, but the place could use a good deep cleaning. We initially couldn’t get in with the code, but the owner answered right away, and she was very nice and gave us another option. If you are picky/particular, skip this rental. If you are super laid back, this place is perfect for you. Our family wouldn’t stay here again. On the map is shows the wrong location. It’s not next to Camp Laney, but it’s super close to Alpine.
