About this cottage rental
Welcome to the entire cottage with a new and seperate wood burning sauna on jay cooke rd. Close to 35 for quick on and off for a 14.4 mile drive to Duluth. The evenings are beautiful to look at the stars and dark enough to do so. The firepit is surrounded by 70 feet pines.
Down the road you will find yourself in Jay cooke state park with the superior hiking trail (SHT) and the munger trail boasting several miles of rugged hiking paths, 7o miles of smooth blacktop paths on munger and easy access to COGGS trails for mt biking. We are close to everything in Jay Cooke State Park. Including the St Louis River.
The quiet neighborhood will help you enjoy star filled nights by the fire pit and sounds of birds. We do have bears in the spring so not recommended to have food outside.
We have six camp and outdoor chairs, a hammock, outdoor table and chairs.

Our kitchen is supplied with any utensil you would need to cook a meal for your family or group of 6 or less.
We have a coffee pot that brews by the pot or uses k-pods. If you wish to cook outside we have a charcoal grill and freestanding grill for over the fire pit.
Our cottage does NOT have any cameras for your privacy.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage! A very peaceful and comfortable spot, with a pretty and welcoming interior. Communication from our hosts was helpful and timely. We did not take advantage of the proximity to Jay Cooke Park and other beautiful natural areas this time, but could easily see why this would be a great spot to stay for such adventures!

We needed a place to stay while visiting our Son an his family for Christmas, and this more than fit the bill. Very cozy and well equipped.
