Very nice property close to Great Sand Dunes. Beds were comfy and we slept great. Listing says AC but it's really just a swamp cooler in the window in the main living area.

What a gem of a find! If you have a family and are traveling to/from the Dunes, THIS is the place to stay. Come prepared with your own food though. Not many choices in Fort Garland itself. Plenty of choices about 20-30 minutes away though. Oh … and possibly the best shower of my life!

This property was perfectly located to the Sand Dunes NP. It does sit on a busy road but we could not hear the cars when inside. The washer did not work when we got there and host did not communicate that with us. Very disappointing since we booked it knowing we could wash clothes on our 7 day roadtrip.
