This bright and spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bath home blends rustic charm with artistic details, mountain views, and a lush garden setting perfect for relaxation, recovery, and landing pad to explore the San Luis Valley.

Inside, you’ll find cozy living spaces filled with warmth and character throughout. The open kitchen and dining area are perfect for shared meals, while the upstairs bedrooms and balcony offer plenty of space to unwind.
Step outside into a shared garden oasis with 30 organic planter boxes, fruit trees, and seating areas ideal for picnics, or simply soaking up the mountain air.
Please note: There is a separate, locked-off apartment on the property occupied by long-term tenants. The apartment has no access to the main house. The only shared space is the outdoor garden areas.

• Joyful Journey Hot Spings - a gravity-fed natural water hot springs clocking in at 30 mins from Star House, this hot springs boast several pools ranging from 98 degrees to 108 degrees and views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains that are to die-for! This venue is a solemn and contemplative experience which encourages quiet reflection and serenity.
• Valley View Hot Springs - all natural waters set in nature with hiking trails and views of the San Luis Valley. This venue clocks in at 40 mins from Star House and boasts all natural waters in natural pools. This is a clothing optional community so you should be comfortable with other human bodies, and access can be limited so be sure to plan ahead.
• Sand Dunes Recreation Hot Springs - a natural water hot springs with tons of amenities. This location clocks in at 35 mins from Star House and is geared for socializing and hot soaking. There is a 21+ section of the complex with a full bar and kitchen, the local beer list is robust and the food is stellar. This is a very socal venue and ADA compliant so great to go with large groups.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious and comfortable. The kitchens and bathrooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels & linens were provided. The furniture and decorations in the home were very cool especially the tin collections. The main town of Crestone was a short walk away where we enjoyed the Elephant Cloud Cafe and enchanting shops. The view of the stars at night was amazing. The Sand Dunes National Park was something to see along with a Hindu temple along the way

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the very beginning, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The home itself was spotless and well cared for and the furniture and beds were super comfy!The property was beautiful, peaceful and perfect for stargazing (one of the things Crestone is known for). My dog loved the huge fenced backyard and was entertained with sniffs for hours! We liked being able to walk less than 5 minutes to get to “downtown” and hiking trails were all around. We also drove just about 45 minutes to the sand dunes and found some really cool hot springs. This home is a perfect place for anyone looking for a restorative getaway. We left feeling refreshed and inspired, and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
