Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, outside the heritage town of Ardara. Off the beaten track and set deep within the Donegal countryside, overlooking a lake, with just sheep for neighbours, the Hidden Cottage offers the ultimate 'get away from it all' experience.
This beautiful cottage has recently been refurbished throughout and is meticulously designed, giving it a unique style and appeal. The cottage is fully equipped for self catering, making it perfect for family getaways.
The cottage is warm and inviting, with underfloor heating throughout. There are books and local guide books available in the cottage and there are beautiful artefacts throughout, including fabrics designed by Charlotte who owns the cottage.
Apart from the Lodge next door, guests are left to enjoy the space and tranquility on their own. There are great walks just on the doorstep and views of the Blue Stack Mountains in the distance.
Ardara is the nearest town to the cottage, just 7 minutes drive away. It's a vibrant and bustling town known for the many festivals held throughout the year. There are blue flag beaches, a golf course, superb pubs and restaurants all to be found within a few mins drive of the town, for more information, check out the towns website at ardara.ie.
