Excellent host, great facilities and good location if you want to visit some fantastic beaches.

Lovely cottage with all the facilities you need for a great stay. Having a private beach close by was great for our dogs. McCaffertys pub, within walking distance, was a great place for excellent food at a good price. Unfortunately I can't rate the hot tub as we picked the weekend Storm Amy hit so the electricity was off for a good part of the weekend. However, the turf fire and a gas hob meant we had heat and food, so all was okay. Catherine, the host, could not have been more attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

Amazing Cottage with hot tub.

We had an amazing stay at the cottage, it was comfortable cosy and warm with a beautiful old style open turf fire. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with plenty of rooms for a family of four. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for self catering with American style fridge and large stove. Outside there is a hot tub area with the most relaxing hot tub which our girls made great use of. It's a 5 min walk to a pub serving top notch food wit a great menu. Catherine and her family were great hosts and gave us all the information we needed and pointed us to a lovely private beach. This place is a hidden gem in a very picturesque part of Donegal. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning again.

Cosy comfortable cottage with everything you need plus a super Hot tub too.

A lovely traditional cottage in a private setting with a Hot tub,Fabulous hosts who made us very welcome and were on hand if needed but not intrusive in any way. Very comfortable bed and nice furnishings with everything you need plus we were also given basic food items for the following day such as Eggs,Bacon,Sausages,Bread,Milk and coffee pods which my husband really enjoyed. Delightful location handy for lots of places to visit. Dogs are welcome too so our elderly dog came with us and liked pottering around outside the cottage. Definitely one to book again.

Lovely quiet getaway

Lovely, clean & quaint house, owner is very friendly and left little goodies for us. The hot tub was excellent, almost didn't get out of it. Felt really secluded but not too far from amenities if needed.

Access to the beach was a bit hard, someone with poorer mobility would really struggle to get to it. I'd be very careful getting there. Once there it is lovely and peaceful.

Great stay for family

Had a fantastic stay here! Catherine the host is very accommodating providing some snacks and bits for breakfast on arriving. She even went out of her way to bring toys down for our baby. Fantastic location and a good base for exploring donegal, will definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Catherine’s Airbnb cottage! The cozy, warm atmosphere with a charming turf fire made it feel like home. The cottage was impeccably equipped, and Catherine, the super host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The welcome hamper was a delightful touch, and the hot tub was a family favorite! Perfectly located beside stunning beaches, it was ideal for our family of two adults, three kids, and our big dog. We loved every minute and would return in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

Will be back again and again!

Absolutely loved our stay here! We booked mainly for the private beach to hold a small wedding ceremony and our host was more than helpful on many occassions through our stay! From helping us get our patio heaters working, to putting the drone up in the air whilstb we were down at the beach. Nothing at all was too much and was always making sure we were ok! We will absolutely be back next year, not only due to our host but the amazing location and property it was perfect!

Absolutely super stay at this very characteristic cottage. The smell of turf when entering the home to all the collectable pictures, signs and ornaments around makes this a unique place. Very clean, super comfy beds. The host was very friendly and nothing was any trouble. Located about 3 mins walk to pub, shop and cafe. Private beach about 4 minutes walk from the house. Lovely area to explore. Closest swimming beach is about 5km called Dooey beach - OMG its out of this world and defo worth a visit. The icing on the cake for this home is the outdoor hot tub. My 2 boys loved it in the morning time but the evening looking out enjoying the sun go down was just the best. We will definitely be back and will reccomend to all ! Thanks so much beautiful Donegal..

Home from home.

Loved the cottage. The location is a fantastic base for most attractions in Donegal, or brilliant for just relaxing. Sitting out at night you can hear the stream at the back it's so beautiful and peaceful. Fantastic little beach at the back of the house but the area is surrounded by beaches. Has everything you need. It's very cosy. A real little gem. Kevin gave lots of recommendations for the area it was brilliant. Would definitely love to get back some day.

Excellent location. Feels very rural but 2 minutes from pub and shop. Loads of fab beaches within a very short drive. Hot tub is amazing. House is very cosy and the turf fire is so relaxing each evening.

Amazing Place - would highly recommend

The cottage was amazing, tranquil setting and everything that was needed was provided. The private beach was excellent and was a great place to bring the dog. The host provided some recommendations in advance for places that we could visit and was always there to offer advice when we had any questions. Everything was perfect and couldn’t fault a thing. Would highly recommend!

Exceptional

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our 3 kids and our golden retriever. Our favourite things were: - the comfy beds - the smell of the turf fire - soaking in the hot tub looking out at the greenery -the character of the house We wanted to relax for a few nights and this was a great place to do just that! A lovely area with a number of beautiful beaches. Dungloe town has a lidl & an aldi, a number of pubs and takeaways, a 15/20 minute drive from the house. The hosts were friendly and provided everything we needed and more.Would definatley recommend!

Beautiful cottage, perfect location.

Beautiful, quaint, traditional cottage with open fire and mod cons. Perfect location for exploring Donegal. Very friendly owners who had left treats, lit the fire and prepared the hot tub for us on arrival. Amazing scenery, very private and with an immaculate private beach down a path which was perfect to play with our dog. Close to a small bar and five minutes drive from Dungloe, incredible Dooey beach, and many more exquisite beauty spots of Donegal. Highly recommend.
