About this house rental
Banks for the Memories has magnificent panoramic ocean views from this beautiful 6-bedroom home with vaulted ceilings located in the gated community of The Currituck Club. Your party will revere sitting outside and enjoying sunrises/sunsets, the constant ocean breeze blowing across the Atlantic surf, while listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. This home offers plenty of outdoor living, as every bedroom opens to deck space. Enjoy the ample pool deck surrounding the salt water pool and newly added an outdoor propane grill. End the day with a relaxing soak in the hot tub and a glass of wine or your favorite cocktail.
Upon entering the home, you will find an elevator which is just the cure for hauling luggage, groceries and other items to the multiple floors. The ground floor offers a carpeted game room complete with ping pong and foosball tables; a pool table to shark your fellow quests; and a separate room for those teens to game at their leisure. This first level includes a queen bedroom with pool deck access and a full bath with shower. This bathroom is also convenient for swimmers and their wet suits just inside the home. Feel free to also try out the outdoor private shower (with hot and cold water) on the pool deck. The ground level game room with wet bar connects to the pool area for seamless indoor-outdoor living.
Take the elevator up to the mid-level where you'll find four bedrooms, three king master suites (one is wheelchair accessible) and two twins, each room with their own deck access. The den is a cozy place to get some alone time or watch a movie, and doubles as extra bedding with a queen sleeper sofa. The classic southern design with deck access from every bedroom provides plenty of outdoor living space.
One floor above is the primary living area in this reverse floor plan. This top floor includes owner's master suite with king bed and a spacious ensuite with large walk-in shower. This room offers direct view of sunrises and sunsets. The gourmet equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and additional seating at the bar for family time. There is plenty of space for everyone to gather in the great room with vaulted ceilings and did we mention those ocean views?!?
You'll enjoy poolside cookouts at the grill area, relaxing at the pool, while taking in the fabulous views and sunsets or gently swinging on the covered porch.

We absolutely loved the house. It was clean and nicely decorated. The elevator was a plus for hauling luggage and groceries upstairs. The view of the ocean from the third floor was amazing. Village Realty was super accommodating after Hurricane Florence delayed our trip by one day. They got us into the house as quickly as possible and we were especially grateful that they let us stay an extra day to make up for the day that was lost (since our house was not rented out for that additional day). Thank you Village Realty!

Great location! Like others we would have liked a gas grill.
We used the charcoal grill and it was a bit of a hassle.
Brought my own knives bc I’m aware that rentals typically don’t have good knives. We did a clambake and thankfully I bought a cracker. Seemed to be missing a few trash receptacles in the rooms.
We had babies with us and rented cribs and baby gates and brought table chairs with us. Would be great to see this house offer those items standard.
The sofa bed was missing sheets and we called on Sunday and left vm thinking we wouldn’t get a response until Monday and someone came out Sunday. Great customer service!
Last thing, we didn’t need it but listing online reads sofa bed 3rd floor but there is no sofa bed. Only in den.
We had an issue with the air on the 1st level(was locked at 69) and village realty was super responsive and got it fixed right away. We notified the dryer was venting into the room while the maintenance guy was there and he fixed that too. Very happy with the rental company

Awesome house with amazing views! Saltwater pool was a big hit too! Amenities could be upgraded though. Need a gas grill, more TV’s, and sharper knives! Would definitely stay again!

Great house! This our 10th OBX Currituck Club vacation. Views are wonderful and ice machine is super. It’s a new house so basics are there but 2 things that are really needed. A gas grill-a necessity!! And at least 1 hair blow dryer!
