Tillamook Head National Recreation Trail is only two miles away for hiking, and the town of Seaside hosts a number of events, like the Kitefliers Association Convention in October.

The yard was beautiful, but we did not use. All windows had storm windows attached. There were problems that were timely attended with SMS to Vicasa. Couches are old and uncomfortable. Good ofstreet parking AND a 2-car garage.

We had a great time staying at the Governor's House. This is an old house with tons of character (even comes with the "old house" smell, but we like houses with character, and it was perfect with us. Large bedrooms for everyone in our family, a huge living room space, a small but efficient kitchen, and a very large yard. One evening we had our extended family over (about 22 people in all) and there was space for everyone. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Seaside!

The house was clean and had good amenities like silver ware, plates, ext.
However there were too many dishes that we had no cupboard space for food.
Overall 4.5/5 no real complants.
