I messaged Chris about checking in and other questions about the property to which he responded promptly.The place was relatively clean but was missing some necessities like hand soap in one of the bathrooms and had some slow drains. Biggest issue for us was that we saw a mouse in the kitchen, but when I mentioned it to Chris he responded very promptly about getting an exterminator.My friends and I came for Gencon and the space was fine for that: comfortable, close enough to drive downtown, plenty of street parking when we came back. Neighborhood is quiet.

We loved this property. Centrally located and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. When we had questions, Chris responded immediately. I would stay here again for my next trip to see the fever play.

We loved the charm of the old house. It has many updates and had plenty of space for our large group. Room to spread out or be together. Chris was a great host and easy to reach if questions needed answering. Neighborhood seems to be up and coming. We enjoyed an evening at The Garage in Bottle Works district which was conveniently located to the house.

First and foremost, the host Chris is very responsive and friendly. He was more than happy to answer any of our questions and very accommodating. The location of the property is great for anyone visiting the downtown area and beyond. We visited the Gainsbridge Fieldhouse, the Indianapolis Zoo, and the childrens museum all nearby! Theres also a nice mall about 20 minutes from the property. There were 7 of us traveling together including 4 children and everyone had plenty of room. It was also nice that 3 of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs so if you're traveling with younger children or elderly members of the family the the long staircase isnt an issue. Overall we had an amazing time and we would stay again.

My family of 11 including 4 kids and a teenager had plenty of room to get together in the kitchen and main areas. The location is close to everything we wanted to do and see while in town. The finishes in the house are beautiful! We were able to park 3 cars off street stress free. This is an ideal place for large gatherings while still offering separate spaces for relaxing, both inside and out.

At first glance the property inside is excellent, but as you stay it becomes more apparent these seems to have been a quick flip. There were cobwebs about the lights at the island, a fake acrylic nail in the main floor bathroom drawers that look like they are never cleaned out, the “curtains” are folder pieces of paper probably from Temu that are clipped up. There is nothing like sitting on the toilet going to the bathroom at night when the clips don’t hold up the “blind” and you are then staring directly into the neighbors window while you are lit up light the 4th of July on the golden throne. The fridge smelled funky, and the grate on the floor wasn’t large enough to cover the hole in the floor which could be a danger to little ones fingers. We were “okay” to sleep here, but would not return. There is Barca’s in the kitchen junk drawer if anyone needs it….? The property IS cute from the outside though and looks plenty inviting.

My family and I vacation often and this experience far exceeded our expectations. We traveled to Indianapolis for my son’s graduation and prom. Chris was an amazing host. Great communication the whole way through. My son stated that he was a very nice man when he dropped by the house to repair the washer for us. The space was amazing for our family as we had several adults and several children. The master bed and bath was very relaxing. There was a great selection of books in one of the bedrooms. Couldn’t have asked for a better quick getaway. Thank you Chris for welcoming us into your space.

It was a nice place, not the nicest area, but overall no issues and was what we needed for the busy weekend. Could have had a few more towels and was clothes/ shampoo, body wash and stuff to make this a great experience.

Only had two issues, otherwise stay was excellent. Description said washer and dryer but the washer was missing. I was planning on using it. The other issue was the lock on the front door. Had trouble locking it and it didn’t always lock automatically.

This was our first trip to Indianapolis for the NFL Draft Combine so finding a place to stay that was close, big enough to fit our party, and safe were at the top of the list. The hose met all that we were looking for and I would recommend staying there to anyone interested. Chris was very attentive to our needs and gave us great guidance on places to see and eat. We’ll be back again next year!

This house was Everything! We were in town for Drum Core International and the house was so charming with plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs bedrooms made it so convenient for my inlaws to have plenty of privacy. The location was ideal to get to Lucas Oil with Lyft. The bar across the street was awesome! We got to know Mark the owner and enjoyed sitting on the porch with our kids listening to the different bands but the BEST part was Sunday Coffee House 8am- 1pm at the bar with brunch 😋 SO AWESOME best latte ever. Chris was wonderful and available whenever we had questions and gave us great recommendations. We walked to Highland Park to watch the sunset and it did not disappoint. We had a fun dinner at Bottleworks/Garage it had something for everyone. All of our friends who stayed in downtown loved this house and now its a race to rent it next year before they do. O

We were in town for a cheer competition. Christopher was amazing before we arrived with recommendations of places to eat and visit, he met us at the house when we arrived and was super friendly. The house was in a great location for being accessible to everything we needed to get to and was as listed. We really enjoyed all the room in the house and how tastefully it was finished. Our grandkids were very impressed as well. We would definitely recommend this listing and will rebook if we're in the area.

The pictures in the listing are accurate. The kitchen, living room, and bathrooms have all been nicely renovated. The host was very nice and gave us a fresh propane tank for the grill! We had a few issues that required attention and the host was quick to address all of them. The reason we gave 3 stars are as follows: 1) There are no handles/knobs on the kitchen cabinets/drawers making it a frustrating experience to try and get nearly anything from the kitchen. 2) multiple water stains on the ceiling made me wonder if there are unaddressed water leaks. 3) kitchen utensils and pots/pans could use a refresh 4) many blinds throughout the home were taped up paper material type blinds, not convenient to move up or down and also gave a cheap feeling to the place 5) master downstairs bathroom shower tiles are stained on the floor due to poor drainage. This bathroom faucet also drips and is very inconvenient to wash your hands under due to its location over the sink. 6) bunk bed room has Venetian blinds which do not block out that much light, especially since the neighbor has an outdoor spotlight shining directly into the room all night causing it to stay bright in the room all night long. 7) there is an overall feeling of this house being slightly dirty. A thorough deep cleaning and new towels, bed sheets, comforters throughout would help considerably We unfortunately would not recommend this place until these issues are addressed.

5 minutes from downtown. Nice clean home with plenty of space. Neighborhood has a lot of potholes, but nice area. Hot water was difficult when multiple people were taking showers.

Upon arrival we threw some clothes into the washer only to get an error message and when tossing the wet clothes in the dryer, we found out that didnt work. After messaging the host, he drove out to connect the dryer which was extremely nice but I wish we were told prior to arrival that they were not working. He also told us some good local places to eat which were tasty to eat at. I chose this house due to the bathtub and shower looking amazing. I will say the concrete sitting slab in the shower needs to be sanded down and smoothed out. I grazed my thigh on the edge. The kitchen was nice to use but i really wish there was handles on all the cabinets. It made it really hard to open. The floors could have been cleaner and less dusty. The amount of space in the house was really nice. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the stay, but with these small things corrected I would have given a 5/5.

Centrally located to downtown and other quick day trips. Would stay again with some home improvements. Those include an actual hot tub (and not a jacuzzi tub in bath) or update listing accordingly; provide wash clothes and hand towels; add pulls on cabinetry as it was challenging to open doors and drawers otherwise. While main floors were clean, carpets needed vacuuming and refrigerator needed wiping out. General amenities like dishwasher liquid, WiFi information/checkout procedures posted in home would be helpful. Host was extremely responsive when contacted, but some things would make it easier on the renter.

Good location proximate to downtown. On main street so easy to find. Great communication and everything was as expected. If we had any issue it was the unit could have been a little cleaner, but nothing that caused us any discomfort. Would definitely stay here again!
