ABOUT THE RENTAL
Situated on 100 feet of private frontage on Pickerel Lake, this cozy cottage is ready for you to come relax! The main floor features an open floor plan with the living room, kitchen, and dining area overlooking the lake. (Fireplace non-operational) Enjoy meals and drinks indoors or out on the back deck with seating for six or at the picnic table located by the lakefront itself. One full bathroom found on the main level for great convenience. Take the wood staircase up to find the main bedroom with a king bed and large deck, perfect for morning coffee overlooking the lake! The second bedroom is also located in the upper level with two sets of twin bunk beds. The second full bathroom with laundry located off the two bedrooms. Dock for jumping into the water to swim, outdoor firepit for bonfires and smores, mooring for your boat and yard space to play – what more could you ask for on your summer vacation?
This cottage is a quick trip to many exquisite resort towns like Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Indian River. But don’t limit your trips to those – Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Island are a quick day trip too! Located close to Petoskey State Park, Burt Lake State Park, and plenty of unique stores and restaurants! Something for everyone in your group!
*This property allows two dogs, maximum. A non-refundable $150.00 cleaning fee will be charged per pet.

We had a small get-together at this house with some friends. It was clean on arrival, AC was on, and toilet paper out front for us. What I can really appreciate was that there was not a long "to-do" list or a list of rules when you first walk in. Easy in, easy out. Not far from Petoskey at all, lake was really warm, no light pollution at all from the neighbors to enjoy the stars, fire pit was good to go, plenty of seating around it. There was coffee and spices provided, plenty of cookware. I think the only complaint I heard was the sulfur smell of the water.
