If Gas for heating is needed between April 15th to November 1st, have
to be paid on the spot based on consumption. The municipality of
Sarteano has implemented a tourist tax. The tax amount is set at 2 €
per day per person. Children under 12 years of age are exempt from this
tax. This is paid upon arrival to the local agent.

If your party consists of a group where the average age is under 25
years of age, a refundable security deposit of 150 EUR per person is
required, payable with the accommodation balance or prior to arrival.
Upon departure, the villa must be left clean and tidy and upon
inspection, the security deposit will be refunded minus any breakages
or additional cleaning required.

We had a wonderful stay watching the sheep and working dogs, sunsets, playing in the pool, and cooking dinner. I think the owners could do better at preparing the home for stays, better communication for how to use the house facilities.

Our stay at Villa Podere Belvedere was just wonderful. Our family had the most relaxing time at the Villa, enjoying morning walks in the picturesque country side, lovely lunches by the pool and driving to the many charming Towns in the area all contributed to a wonderful stay.
My only negative comment is that it would have been helpful if we had been informed that absolutely no household cleaning products or catering supplies would be provided, we could have brought these items with us. Given the cost of our stay I don't think it is unreasonable to expect that basic items such as washing up liquid, dishwashing tablets and some laundry washing soap could have been supplied as with other home stay service providers. Also extra toilet paper needs to be provided too.
