Tucked at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on a private, wooded acre, this spacious 3BR/2BA home with soaring ceilings and an open-concept great room is designed for families, remote workers, and nature lovers who want to truly unwind. Large windows frame the wooded property throughout — sit inside and watch birds, squirrels, frogs, toads, and even the occasional turtle move through the trees and yard. The mature tree canopy keeps the property naturally cool and shaded, a genuine rarity on the Carolina coast. You’re surrounded by wetlands forest yet just 10 minutes from Carolina Beach and under 20 minutes from Downtown Wilmington.

Dogs are genuinely welcome here — bring the whole pack. (Dogs only please — we are not set up for cats, reptiles, or other animals.)

Outdoor Paradise — Over One Private Acre
This is where the property truly shines. A wooded acre gives you more genuine privacy than almost any other rental in the Wilmington market. The huge private backyard borders undeveloped forest and wraps around a beautifully evening-lit patio. String lights illuminate the entire outdoor area including the shower, side yard, backyard, and part of the front yard — all controlled from a single remote switch inside or manual switches on the back patio and shower.

The centerpiece: our signature outdoor oversized hot water shower and galvanized soaking tub — big enough for two adults, lit by string lights, surrounded by the sounds of the woods. A built-in foot splash station with a movable dam lets kids rinse and play before heading inside — perfect for post-beach days and dog owners. Guests consistently call this their favorite part of the stay.

Outdoor amenities including hammocks, the climbing dome, the toy digger, tub/shower and play areas are provided for guest enjoyment. Guests assume responsibility for supervising children and using all outdoor equipment safely and at their own risk.

Step inside to an open-concept great room bathed in natural light from oversized windows overlooking the wooded front and back yard. The large windows aren’t just for light — they frame the property like a living painting, making wildlife watching from the couch a genuine daily pleasure. Soaring ceilings, ceiling fans, and an indoor fireplace make the space feel expansive and welcoming in any weather.

Work from home or stay connected with a wall-hinged standing desk in the living area and a dedicated Murphy fold out and sit desk in the master suite — reliable WiFi suitable for streaming, video calls, and everyday browsing throughout.
