Rue Cler market - Eiffel tower vicinity - Pedestrian section - Newly listed

The location was perfect! Check-in was easy, someone met us at the entrance, handed us the keys and showed us the way, which was helpful because we may have had trouble finding our room with all the doors and stairs. The apartment was cozy and clean but had a sewage smell. I’m told this is typical of older Paris buildings. We kept the toilet lid down and the bathroom door closed, and cracked the windows during the day and this took care of the smell mostly. The rooms were a decent size. The pullout couch was ok for one person, about what you would expect, but the king size bed was very comfortable. There is no view of anything, so don’t expect one. But no view is promised in the listing so it’s accurate. The windows look out at the inner courtyard of the building which is just concrete and garbage bins. The elevator is tiny, room for one person and a suitcase or 2, but works to send luggage up. You do need to take a few stairs to get to the elevator and a few after getting off, so it would not be suitable if you have accessibility issues. We just used the stairs the whole time. Again, the location cannot be beat. Rue Cler is full of great restaurants, cafes, bakeries and fruit and vegetable markets. You are only a few minutes walk to the Ecole Militaire metro station, and 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. We loved our stay!

The location was perfect! So convenient to the metro, restaurants and grocery stores. Oh and a short walk to the Eiffel.The apartment was just the right size for 2 adults, with plenty of privacy. A family of 4 would be comfortable staying here too. I was a little concerned because I’m a 60 heavyset woman with bad knees and worried about the stairs. No worries! The elevator made it very easy to navigate the steps. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. A Little hiccup meeting the person for check in but it’s Paris! Se la vie! Communicating with property owner was easy and he always replied quickly with answers to my questions. He even arranged airport transportation which was helpful. Can’t wait to go back again !

Located on Rue Cler, it is an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower and the metro. On nights you don't want to go far, there are numerous restaurants just outside your door, all willing to welcome you in for a wonderful evening. From the metro station, just a 5-minute walk away, you have access to just about any area in Paris you want to visit. We also took the RER out to visit Rouen. Its location is ideal for your time in Paris..

Perfect location! Loved the apartment and loved the neighborhood. Easy access to both train and bus systems.
