This was a lifetime trip for 2 months. We loved staying at Sheetal and Vittorio’s house overlooking Lake Trasimeno. It was a perfect location with stunning views. Our hosts could not have been more charming, accommodating or caring. We took many, many day trips around Umbria, Tuscany, and to other regions including both coasts. Train stations conveniently nearby to go to Florence, Venice, Rome, or anywhere really. Loved, loved, loved sitting on the terrace looking at the lake with our morning coffee or anytime of day. The lake was the star of our location.To our American friends, you will learn to live like a native Italian. Kitchen has all amenities except for ingredients for your memorable meals you enjoy at the house. Just be aware that you are living the Italian lifestyle. By the time we were departing, it felt like leaving our home away from home. Bittersweet but we created memories of a lifetime. Thank you, Sheetal and Vittorio!
