Brand New Premium Two Bedroom Condo, Beach Side

Would highly recommend this suite. View was absolutely gorgeous. Elevators were speedy. Only downfall was the towel service and beach chair service. We were given vouchers for every day, but we weren’t allowed at the chairs directly out front of the condo.

First, the elevator issue is ridiculous. They are terrible and management has posted only 8 people. I have been in elevators the same size with 15 people. It takes forever to go up or down on the elevators. Second, bar staff by pool is overwhelmed or inattentiv. Three, the staff seems confused all the time. I was there 3 days before they told us we needed wristbands for the pool deck (we had gone there 2 days without a wristband). Room was great but building layout is poor.

I had stayed at the Hyde previously with a group of friends, so I knew the elevator situation. It was horrible trying to get an elevator, especially from the 23rd floor. The unit was nice, however there were 4 adults in the room and only 2 wash cloths and 1 hand towel when we arrived. Since check in is at 4pm, by the time we got in the room and called the management, housekeeping had gone home for the day. It was after lunch the next day before the towels were delivered. We also had problems with the coffee pot leaking but that was just a minor issue. Other than these problems, it was a nice place equipped with what we needed for our stay.

The unit and facilities were nice. Services which include front desk, parking and elevator were extremely slow. Not staffed enough to accommodate the masses. The property manager was not helpful in anyway with concerns in our unit. We purchased groceries so we would not have to eat every meal out only to find the stove top was not working. The Nescafé coffee maker and some outlets were also not working. We found the condo so sparse on supplies we had to go buys some basic necessities.
