About this house rental
Experience a rare vantage that soars! Mountain Lake & Mountain Range views, plentiful wildlife -- all from your massive private deck (400 sq ft). Firepit and Hot Tub. Bring the Family for Pickleball, teach the kids to play pool and air hockey. Close access to I-25 and the entire Colorado front-range adventure-land. One exit north of the Air Force Academy Visitor Center. Entire second floor of the barn -- 1,800 sq ft -- all yours!
Two full bathrooms. Washer and Dryer in suite. Two regular bedrooms plus two bunk beds in the "galley" to accommodate 4 individual sleepers, plus a futon sofa in living room.
Pickleball court is a shared amenity with guests of another vacation rental on the property.
Available in suite: infant high chair and infant 'pack-n-play'; iron and ironing board; and cooking spices you need for that special meal you want to cook.
No smoking (cigarettes or marijuana) inside at any time.
Entire second floor of new "barn". 1800 square feet plus 400 square feet of deck. Accessed through private entrance to stairwell to upper floor. Parking available on pavement.
We live on site in the adjacent house, so we can quickly respond to any needs/issues that arrive. Otherwise, we tend to leave guests alone to enjoy their stay as a private retreat.
The property is on a gravel road, and the driveway can be slippery when wet or snowy, so please drive carefully.
The property has two driveways. Perch Point guests should enter the West drive (closer to the mountains, sign says "The Schott's"). At the top of the driveway, park on the asphalt along the retaining wall between the barn and the house. We ask guests not to park on the concrete areas to allow owner to access our garage doors. Enter the Perch Point through the door at the corner of the retaining wall (keypad code will be provided day of checkin.

We had a great experience. From check in to leaving. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area. There was so much to do for kids just at the property and so many things nearby as well!

Great for families. Lots of on site activities to keep our group entertained. We came for the local sites but the family was eager each evening to come back and play pickleball and relax in the hot tub! Great hosts and amazing property!

This place was a beautiful and new place to stay with everything one would need in a VRBO and more! Our kids and I really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck with mountain views, an air hockey table, basketball court, etc. There were lots of beds to choose from. it’s also nice to be tucked away in a quiet and rural part of Monument. The hosts (Emily and Jason) were very kind and welcoming! We would highly recommend it!
