Footprints by the Sound is the perfect place to begin every day of your fun-filled Outer Banks Vacation! Conveniently located near the main entrance to Corolla Light you're just a short walk from the Oceanside pool and activities, beach, Currituck Herritage Park, Currituck Lighthouse, shops and restaurants or the Soundfront walking path. The sunsets are spectacular, and you can enjoy star watching from the front deck with a view of the lighthouse. Walk, bike or take the community trolley (seasonal) to all of the amenities in this wonderful, family friendly community. This property has had nesting bald eagles in the back yard for the last 2 seasons. If you are a bird watcher this property is for you!

Mid Level: King Master Bedroom with deck access and private bathroom including a jetted tub, Queen Master Bedroom with private bathroom, separate shower and deck access, Bedroom with a DuoBunk (double on bottom, single on top) and deck access shares a full hall bathroom with a Queen Bedroom with deck access. Laundry area with washer and dryer.
Top Level: Great room with flat-screen smart TV/DVD, stereo with CD, deck access and a game nook with a 4-person table. (note: gas fireplace is not for guest use). Spacious kitchen with plenty of counter space and prep sink to prepare large meals for the whole family to enjoy. Dining room seating for 8, half bathroom and Ships Watch. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bathmat for each shower or tub.

The property is in a wonderful location and is a perfect size for a large family. It gives a group as large as ten and probably more room to space out. My families issues were the condition of the house when we arrived. It was just filthy. No one had vacuumed and it was clear. Dead bugs everywhere, hair in bathrooms, food under beds/end tables, a leaky half bath with water just left on the floor. The floors were full of sand that had been left. Twice someone stepped on something sharp left in the carpet. I’m addition to the house being dirty despite a cleaning fee- there were two towels given per room and the beds were made. There was no toilet paper, cleaning supplies, hand soap, paper towels. Most rentals include very basic things so we may clean up after ourselves better but this was bare bones. Honestly we loved the actual property and would rent again provided it were throughly cleaned and/or we were not charged a cleaning fee for a dirty home.
