About this cabin rental
Relax, reconnect, and recharge at Poes Mountain Lodge. Enjoy the nature views and privacy that 50 acres provides.
The cabin is constructed with Canadian western red cedar logs. Enjoy 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open kitchen and living area, a large deck, and a screened in back porch. There is a stone fireplace that contains stone from the original cabin that was constructed in the late 1700s.
Enjoy local wineries, Skyline Drive (about 30 minutes away), venture out to DC for a day trip, or stay put and enjoy the house amenities. The sky has very low light pollution which provides a great backdrop for stargazing at night. We like to sit on the back porch in the rocking chairs and observe all of the wildlife that call the mountain home.

Photos and description accurate to listing. Very quiet and peaceful. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with equipment for cooking meals, I didn't notice anything they didn't have available. Communication with host was great. Would absolutely book here again!

This property gets excellent reviews because it is absolutely spectacular. I wish we could have enjoyed more time there but we rented it for our daughter’s wedding weekend. The home itself is spacious, well equipped, and so clean and comfortable! Our host is a great communicator and is so easy to work with. The property is in a remote, peaceful setting. Really loved this place!
