About this resort
First established in 1889, Fountain Point is a timeless American summer resort located on the shores of Lake Leelanau in Northern Michigan. We have 19 family-style cottages and a 14 bedroom hotel. The hotel includes a sweeping front porch that offers shaded lakeside views, as well as a parlor game room with activities for guests to borrow. There are no TVs, no air conditioning, and very limited WiFi. If you are looking for a place to truly unplug and unwind with your family and friends, you will find it here.

It was a very beautiful lakeside setting on Lake Leelanau, with lots of things to do. Kayaking, canoeing, game room with pool table, shuffleboard, corn hole, ladder ball, a fireplace in the main hotel, with books and places to enjoy. It was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing.

If you enjoy vacationing with a vintage feel, this is your place! Quiet , quaint (no air conditioning in hotel, but fan provided, no TV, sketchy wifi, no fridge in room), friendly and helpful staff. A great place to shake off tension and enjoy a relaxed and old-fashioned vibe.
