About this house rental
Between two beautiful towns Ostuni (Citta Bianca) and Cisternino lies our idyll. After a vacation visit, we fell in love with the relatively undiscovered Trulloregion and decided to restore a Trulloruine.
The result is a beautiful estate: an old trullo with lamia restored with attention to detail, surrounded by a 1-hectare olive grove.
The olive trees are treated biologically and harvested in November / December. The olives are pressed in the nearby Ökomühle to an excellent Olio extra vergine di Olivia. It is possible to visit one of the numerous oil mills (Frantolio).
Both the whole Casa and the Trulli (CONI) peaks were built with local stone (Pietri) using special construction techniques, laboriously done by our awning Angelo and his team.
All materials used are from the region.
The garden around the pool and house Franco has designed with the stones excavated from our earth in heavy work.
The Casa has been lovingly furnished with quality furniture and accessories.
The domicile offers sleeping facilities for 6 persons as well as 2 bathrooms and indoor and outdoor kitchen with barbecue.
On hot summer days, thick, well-insulated walls protect you from the heat.
On cool days, the underfloor heating in the whole house and a wood stove in the kitchen will warm you up.
Our guests have a large (5 x 12 m) saltwater pool available.
Environmentally friendly, the photovoltaic system is used for power generation.
The nearest beach on the Adriatic coast is about 15 minutes away by car.
The visit to the
The nearest shops are about 4 km away, in the direction of Cisternino in the picturesque village of Casalini or in Ostuni directly.
Otherwise, we recommend a visit to the many weekly markets.

In both places and also in Cisternino you can also dine exquisitely, in numerous pizzerias and restaurants.
In the region there are numerous interesting places such as Alberobello, Martina Franca, Monopoli, Lecce, Polignano a Mare (birthplace of the Italian singer Domenico Modugno: "Volare") and Matera (European Kluturhauptstadt 2019).

We had a wonderful time at this property. The owners were extremely prompt with their communication and the check in process was seamless. The kitchen has every cooking equipment you can think of and the bedroom are very comfortable. If you have small children, there are no black out blinds but we improvised with towels! The pool is stunning as is all of the garden. Lots of wonderful herbs, fruit and flowers are grown. Location wise, we ate mainly in Cisternino and Ostuni. The beach is not far away either. I would thoroughly recommend.

Our stay in Trull amore was spectacular, the house is so nicely decorated and the property so well looked after, especially the Kitchen and BBQ area were really well equipped,the housekeepers were very discreet but always available when we needed to ask for anything. The neighborhood was so quiet which made it an idillec place to call home for 2 weeks. I have stayed in the region 3 times and by far this was the best stay yet! already thinking of booking for next year!
