Trullo Amelie

The accomodation is absolutely amazing. It has everything you can need. Very clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and incredibly nice.

The Trullo, even though an authenitc experience, is difficult to ventilate(it has AC tho), so it can be humid and a little bit uncomfortable sometimes, but I think thats like for all this kind of buildings. Also being at the countryside, there can be many insects that sometimes can enter inside, but not really of you close the door as we have been advised. This was just as a side note, nothing hard to bear.

Trullo Amelie was ideal for our family group. Myself, partner and our two-year-old stayed in the Trullo house, whilst two other couples stayed in the main house. It's so spacious, open and bright, and the outdoor areas are great for outdoor dining, BBQ, stone baking pizzas! The Trullo house has its own fridge, hob, dining table and bathroom so we could be pretty self contained. The travel cot supplied for our little boy had a proper mattress which was the best we've ever had whilst travelling with him! The owners were really helpful beforehand with recommendations, communication and checking all was ok! The location is rural, very peaceful - but only a 10-15 minute drive into the centre of Ostuni. You definitely need a car.

I can't really complain about too much as Trullo Amelie was a great home from home and we loved our time together as a family whilst there. The only thing I'd mention is that there are a lot of cactus plants around the villa and the Puglia area generally, which leave lots of little needles in the skin if you brush past them - so if you have young children you need to be mindful of that!

Beautiful villa and surrounding gardens. Beds were very comfy and kitchen well equipped for dinners and bbq’s. Host were also very lovely. I would recommend staying here for both families and friends.
