About this villa rental
The Trullo is located a few kilometers from Ostuni (the famous White City) and from other important tourist resorts in the Itria Valley such as Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, Martina Franca, Cisternino etc. Logistically it is located exactly in the center of the Salento peninsula, 20/25 km away from the beautiful jagged rocky coasts of the Adriatic Sea and 25/35 km from the long stretches of very fine sand of the Ionian Sea. It is also surrounded, at a short distance from each other, by excellent restaurants and trattorias of national and international fame which have given the town the universal recognition of "Land of Gastronomy" in addition to the important wine cellars which produce the excellent local wine. trullo therefore represents the strategically ideal choice from which to start for any type of holiday. 2 international airports (Brindisi Papola Casale at only 30 km and Bari Palese at about 90 km) and major roads also allow you to easily reach the destination. The entire structure is made up of 3 distinct units, fully furnished and equipped with air conditioning: The TRULLO has 2 double bedrooms, with the possibility of single or double beds, 1 alcove with double sofa bed, entrance hall, living room, kitchenette, 1 bathroom and 2 other rooms (alcoves) for different use. It is therefore possible to accommodate from 4 to 6 people. The APARTMENT consists of a large covered veranda, equipped with a barbecue and large tables to comfortably accommodate even 16 people. Inside, a comfortable main kitchen furnished with living room, fireplace and double sofa bed. Upstairs we find two double bedrooms and full bathroom. It can therefore accommodate 4 to 6 people. The DEPENDANCE is an intimate rustic stone and brick studio apartment comprising an entrance hall with a sofa bed for 2, a kitchen area furnished with everything you need, a sleeping area with a queen-size bed and a complete bathroom. It can therefore accommodate from 2 to 4 people Outside we find a spacious covered veranda equipped with an independent pizzeria corner. There is no lack of space for relaxation: the building is surrounded by large squares and verandas equipped with an oven and/or barbecue available to the structure and all around 15,000 meters of garden and completely fenced olive grove to allow total independence from the outside world in absolute privacy. This is an ideal property to spend time with a family. We had 11 in our party and there were comfortable accommodations for all. ( Three separate houses in a gated property.) The younger children especially enjoyed the pool area as did the adults in the shade with refreshments. The property is beautiful and well kept and Roberto couldn't have been nicer. Staying in a trulli house really gave us a feeling of southern Italy as it might have been in the 19 hundreds with modern touches added. We would book this property again. We also enjoyed Bianca, the outside dog and the cat that we rarely saw.

This is truly an oasis. South Italy in the middle of summer is no joke. Extremely hot and not many places offer AC. Thankfully we found this place with AC units in the bedrooms and a pool to cool off in. The host Roberto is extremely accommodating and provides a great conveniences in a traditional Puglia setting. With a bakery right next door this is the perfect place to get away and relax.
Highly recommend.
