About this house rental

Someone once said, “A real friend is someone who takes a vacation on a sun-drenched beach and does not send a card”. You might not have any friends after a vacation at 7 41st Ave, since you will want to let everyone know what a wonderful time you are having on the Isle of Palms at this wonderful home.

You could make your postcard with a picture of the private swimming pool at 7 41st Avenue. It is beautiful and very unusual that a four-bedroom home would feature a private pool. When it is time to hit the beach, a beach access path is ideally situated at the end of the block so that in five minutes you can be enjoying the “Blue Wave Beach”, a national award given to the Isle of Palms for the cleanliness of the beach and ocean. You might want to even send your friends back home a sand dollar, which is often found on the Isle of Palms while walking the surf.

The first level of 7 41st Avenue features a bedroom with a queen bed, as well as the living room, dining room, kitchen, and family room. The living room is comfortable and includes two sofas, luxurious leather chairs, and a flat-screen television. You will find that the kitchen is perfect for that low country boil with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The dining area has room for the entire family with seating for ten. The family room is an extra benefit not often found in vacation rental homes. It provides a cozy and quiet space to catch up with the local newspaper or your favorite beach novel.

The second level features three bedrooms all of which include a full private bath. The master bedroom is spacious, where you will find a king bed and a daybed. The master bathroom is equally large with a whirlpool tub. The first guest bedroom has two queen beds, and the second guest bedroom has a double bed. 7 41st Avenue can sleep 11 people comfortably.

When 7 41st Avenue was built, the designer must have had your postcard in mind. This wonderful home has decks everywhere. There are two decks on the front of the house, and two screened decks in the back overlooking the private swimming pool. Anyone of the four decks is the perfect spot to sit in a rocking chair and share stories of the day or write all of your friends about your vacation on the Isle of Palms.

One final note for your postcard, if the pool, beach, ping pong table and comfortable furnishings are not enough, the City Marina is located at the end of the block, just a short walk from 7 41st Avenue. There are dining options at the Marina, groceries, charter fishing boats, a boat ramp, kayak rental, and island tours can all be found at this full-service marina

- Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Fireplaces are not for guest use.
- Please note that due to natural coastal conditions, beach areas may experience periodic erosion that can affect shoreline size and accessibility. During periods of high tide, portions of the beach—or the entire beach—may be temporarily inaccessible. We are not able to guarantee identical beach conditions for future stays, and refunds or relocations will not be available due to these natural changes.
- While we do our best to communicate any known work within Wild Dunes or nearby beach projects, many homes are privately owned and we are not always notified of surrounding activity. - The neighbor behind the house is renovating their pool and we were not aware until the construction started. We do not have an expected time of completion.

Our stay at this house was more than what we had anticipated. Was planning on going to the beach during our stay but ended up enjoying the house instead. The amenities were great for our group. As for the house, it was in great condition when we arrived. So we made sure it looked exactly how we found it. Thanks so much to avant- for hosting us. We plan on booking with you guys again!

The house itself was great as well as the location. A few minor issues with the following: front two burners on stove did not work, hole in screened in porch made it difficult for kids to stop messing with it and we ended up duck taping, a few spindles lose, MB shower door won’t close, other shower upstairs door would not open well and mold in shower. Pool great!!

Overall this was a very lovely home and we were very comfortable there. We had a wonderful vacation.The home is gorgeous, relaxing and well furnished, but needs a few minor updates to make it a perfect 10.Pros:- Close, easy walk to the beach- Well furnished, spacious, comfortable- Enjoyable pool and grill- Very easy check-in and check-out process- We enjoyed the rockers on the front porch- We loved the outdoor patio. It has a big table for meals, fans to stay cool, and the screen prevented bugs getting in.Cons:- Shower doors in two of the bathrooms didn't open or close easily, and we resorted to just showering with the shower doors open- Similarly, the master bathroom door didn't seem to be properly aligned and would catch at the bottom making it difficult to open.- The master bedroom carpet had clearly been pulled up to run the cable to the television under the carpet. The carpet was uneven and bunched in spots and was elevated where the cord was. This could be a trip hazard.- There were some yellow jackets at the pool initially, but we stopped seeing them after the yard was sprayed- Most notably, we found a pile of toenails on the outdoor patio that someone had apparently recently clipped. While the house itself was pretty clean, this was a pretty gross find and made us question the overall thoroughness/cleanliness (Though this was really the only thing we found.)Overall, a very nice home, but just needs a few spots of upkeep to get it to a perfect 10.

7 41st Ave was a very comfortable house for our family of 9 with room to spare. There was a well-equipped kitchen (minus a toaster) with lots of seating around a large table. The location of the house was a plus for us. You could walk to two restaurants and enjoy some good food and drinks (no need for a designated driver) and also have a quick and easy walk to a beautiful beach. The pool was clean and well maintained. My complaints are few... there was no shower in the main floor bathroom... the sofa covers and stool cushions were soiled... and some of the toilet seats looked dirty with stains and chips.
