Torre del Cielo - Luxury Villa with private pool

Torre del Cielo is a superb villa with 5 bedrooms each with bathroom ensuite, large garden, a 12 x 6 swimming pool that is warmed by all day sun exposure with fantastic panoramic views.

Torre del Cielo - 'Tower of the Sky' - takes its name from its outstanding position over the valley from which you can enjoy superb panoramic views.
The tower was built in middle of 1600 when it was used as a lookout for approaching enemies. In 1894 the building was expanded to include a stone farmhouse. This work was done by the great-grandfather of the current owner.
Traditional Tuscan style was maintained in the recent restoration of this property. The ceiling and floors are beautifully finished with terracotta tiles, and the ceilings have exposed wooden beams. The original wooden doors have all been refinished with antique hardware.
There is a new pool (12 x 6 m depth 1.5 mt) in a beautiful garden with roses , lavender, jasmine, with cypresses and olive trees, offering stunning views over the valley towards the lush green tuscan hills.
A heated Jacuzzi is available on request (at booking confirmation) at € 350 per week / to be paid on site.
The pool area has a big gazebo, table, chairs and barbeques, from which to enjoy your al-fresco meal, the mediaeval town of Monterchi and the lush green Tuscan Hills are a backdrop.
Distances
The nearest village is Monterchi at 2,5 km, it can also be reached on foot through a beautiful country road. Cortona is 45 km, Siena 91 km, Florence at 105 km, and San Gimignano is 147 km.
At Guests' disposal:
During your stay, you will have access to volley ball, playground area for children, and football area. There are also sunbeds/chairs and umbrellas for the pool area as well as a private outdoor dining area and a barbecue.
Free WI-FI internet available both in the villa and in the outside areas.

The vistas are absolutely splendid, looking over small hilltop towns and villages with the Apennine mountain range forming the backdrop in the far distance.

Torre del Cielo offers unique accommodation.
You will find precious period furniture and all the modern comforts making your stay pleasant and relaxing.

At the ground floor of Torre del Cielo you will find: a fully equipped laundry, a large living room (55 sq. m.) with armchairs, dining room with table and chairs for 10 people, Sat TV, stereo.
There is the kitchen with: microwave, american coffee maker, italian coffee maker Bialetti, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, oven, fridge and the complete dish facilities. There is also a traditionally decorated living room with sofas, telephone (good for internet connection), clothes dryer.

On the first floor there are four bedrooms. Two of the rooms are double rooms and each have en-suite bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin. The other two rooms are twin rooms (can be double) and each have en-suite bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.

Situated in the medieval tower part of the villa, which is accessed only from the outside, there is a small sitting area, a bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin, and one double bedroom.

Each bedroom is provided with air conditioned.

There are hairdryers in each of the bathrooms of Torre del Cielo.

Therefore we can accommodate up to 10 people (in 5 rooms) and on request we can provide a baby cot.

At the top of the tower there is a terrace where guests can see a marvelous view over the whole valley.
