## Neighborhood
The apartment is situated in the centre of Praia da Luz so everything you need is just a short walk away – the lovely sandy beach with beach-side cafes and restaurants dotted along the pedestrianised promenade. There are two supermarkets within walking distance of the apartment, so you can easily get those freshly baked croissants for breakfast on the balcony.
Why not take one of the local buses to the historic town of Lagos full of Portuguese history and take a walk back in time through the cobbled streets where you have plenty of shops and restaurants. Or visit the neighbouring village of Burgau, a quaint fishing village to the west.
The west coast is very popular for surfing, with some of the best beaches on the Algarve. This is also the perfect place to use a base whilst exploring the stunning coastline. Walking along the cliff paths of the Algarve is another way to do this, the magnificent paths are easily accessible from Praia da Luz.
If you are not looking to hire a car, this is the ideal accommodation for you to unwind in. With plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby, you really do not have to wonder far to have an excellent and memorable stay in Praia da Luz.
## Transit
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

The views were lovely, and the location was very convenient, with shops, restaurants, and the beach all just a short walk away.However, we had trouble locating the apartment at first, and once we did, we found there was a long flight of stairs leading up to it. This would not be suitable for elderly guests or anyone with mobility challenges.We also found a couple of issues within the unit, which we reported immediately and were told maintenance would be notified. Unfortunately, despite several attempts to contact the host, we received no response. As we were there for a full week, we expected more support and communication from the management.Also the unit was sparsely equipped and the furniture uncomfortable. The view was lovely and we spent a lot of time on the patio but the chairs were not at all comfortable.,

The view was amazing. We were 2 minutes from the beach and shops along the boardwalk. We walked and bused to neighbouring towns. It was very easy. Lots of great restaurants close by. 2 good sized grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. Absolutely loved our accommodations and stay.
