This spacious, bright and contemporary converted barn lies in delightful countryside. Close to the historic little town of Usk, with its fairytale castle, independent shops, many pubs and famous floral decorations, and the appealing village of Raglan - also with castle, pubs, farm shop, gliding club and award-winning butcher! The area is in the heart of historic and beautiful Monmouthshire, with its myriad attractions and eateries. Coarse fishing, 2 miles. Tintern Abbey and the market towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth are all under 10 miles. Exceptional golf courses abound (Ryder Cup 2010), and excellent walking in the Brecon Beacons, Offa’s Dyke, Wye and Usk Valley is available locally.

We loved this cottage and it’s spaciousness, loads of light coming in and surrounding areas where very handy. Due to the Covid we were unable to leave a message in the visitor’s book. It’s a shame also that we could not meet the owner as we would have loved to tell them how pleased we were and the effort that was made to make the cottage safe.

What an amazing place to stay!! We have just spent an amazing week staying here, the owner came to greet us the morning after we arrived to explain and go through any questions that we had which was a great touch as due to covid 19 all the information has had to be removed from the property. The barn is very private with stunning views out of every window, we took our dog with us and she couldn't have been in a more safer place. The owner even let us use the field behind the property for her to run around in a play ball which was a lovely touch. The barn is well equipped and in stunning condition and the owner follows all the covid guidelines above and beyond which made us feel safe at all times during our visit. We loved it so much that we have already booked up to go back again next year!!!
