About this villa rental
Villa La Romana is a charming property in traditional Algarve style, perfect for a peaceful family holiday, located in Sesmarias, in the Galé area, just a short walk from the beach.
The cosy living and dining room offers direct access to the outdoor area, creating a comfortable space to relax at any time of day. On the ground floor, there is also a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom.
Upstairs, the villa features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two single beds, as well as a shared bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped and provides everything needed to prepare meals in comfort, in a practical and well-organised space.
Outside, the property features a well-kept garden, a private swimming pool that is heatable (additional cost), and a ping pong table for fun family moments or games among friends.
The barbecue, next to the outdoor dining area, invites you to enjoy long afternoons in good company, in a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
Villa La Romana is located about 15 minutes on foot from the beach and the centre of Galé, where you’ll find a great selection of bars, restaurants and local services.
The property is equipped with a modern security alarm system. Image capture is an integrated feature of the alarm system and is only activated if the alarm is switched on and triggered in response to a potential intrusion.
The changeover day for this property is Saturday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).
If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.
This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost).
Pool heating is always an added value for your holiday, especially when traveling with children. When the pool heating is activated, the water temperature will always be 5ºC to 8ºC higher than it would be without heating.
Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car rental. We can also arrange transfers if needed.
Group deposit: € 150 per guest (payment by credit/debit card).

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at this villa. Our host was helpful giving good advice and tips. Check-in was simple. The property was spacious and well equipped with air con in all rooms. Plenty of time spent in the pool and on the loungers. Lots of options for eating out within walking distance plus a number of beaches also within walking distance. Driving also an option with parking available on the road down to the beaches. Only a short drive into Albufeira or roughly a 10 Uber. Lots of day trip activities to do with the kids if you’re looking to get out and about. Overall a fantastic week spent in the Algarve, kids were very sad to be going home.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa La Romana. The villa was comfortable, clean and full of character, offering everything needed for a relaxing family holiday. We particularly enjoyed the private pool, the barbecue area and the peaceful garden. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and local amenities, while still offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this villa and would love to return in the future.

A very nice villa in a quiet area close to Galé. The property was clean, spacious and well equipped for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the private pool and barbecue area. Everything was exactly as described and we would happily return.

We had some difficulty finding the property as the name on the property is not Villa Romana. Overall we liked the villa size, location and cleanliness. We found the beds to be very uncomfortable. We paid to have the pool heated but about half way through our stay the temperature of the water became colder even though the manager said the heat was on. We were only supplied one bath towel each, no extra towels for the pool. Be prepared to supply your own garbage bags and dishcloths.
