About this villa rental
Townhouse with swimming pool surrounded by countryside with a capacity for 6 people, only 10 km far away from the beach.
Outside the house is very nice. Spend time on the terrace, prepare a barbecue, swim in the swimming pool or just relax in the garden. The porch, with 100 m2 is furnished with a huge wooden table. All of you can get together and also cook outside because right next to the barbecue there is a second kitchen, which has a dishwasher. On the front side of the porch, facing the swimming pool, there is a chill out area with seats and armchairs. The right place for relax seekers. The swimming pool, chlorine water and 4.5x8 metres, is private. Next to the swimming pool there is also a pergola with another dining area. A good place to enjoy the Mediterranean weather.
This two-storey, 250 m2 house has three air-conditioned double bedrooms and is ideal for couples with children or small groups of friends. One of the bedrooms is equipped with two single beds, while the other two have a double bed. The three bedrooms are located on the first floor, where we also find 3 bathrooms (two of them en suite) and on the ground floor, we also find a bathroom. Three of the bathrooms have a shower and one has a bathtub. There is a warm atmosphere in every room. Sit back and relax in the living room, where there are sofas to enjoy a good read, watch satellite TV or take a short nap. The independent kitchen has everything you need to cook without any problems: toaster, coffee maker, oven and gas cooker, cutlery, kitchen utensils, fridge with freezer and much more. Of course there is also a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
The house is located in Muro, just on the outskirts of the town. It is a very quiet place and also very convenient because it has many facilities nearby, such as supermarket, bank, sports area, bars and some restaurants. A 10 minute drive will take you to the nearest beaches: Can Picafort and Ses Casetes des Capellans. You can enjoy a pleasant sunny day in the sandy beach and have delicious paella for lunch in one of the restaurants with sea views. Make the most of the day and have a cocktail at sunset! The seafront promenade of Can Picafort has a great offer of bars and restaurants and it always has a lively atmosphere. If you go direction Alcudia, you will find Playa de Muro, a quiet beach area with a protected sand dune are of ecological interest and shallow crystalline waters, ideal for children. It’s worth to go to Alcúdia or Pollensa and discover their numerous little coves!

“Excellent séjour ! Propriétaire très gentil , maison propre équipée , idéal pour des vacances en famille avec une grande piscine et un très grand terrain idéal pour les enfants 0 vis à vis je recommande totalement la localisation est parfaite, à disposition jeux de société et également des plans cartes de l’île avec des lieux et activités à faire hâte de revenir l’année prochaine surprise du rapport qualité prix !”

“Wir verbrachten mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern zwei Ferienwochen im August in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt direkt auf einer Obstplantagen. Jeden Tag konnten wir frische Feigen vom Baum ernten. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Außenküche ist ein Traum zum Kochen. Jedoch ist die Küchenausstattung etwas spärlich (kein Müslischalen, Eierbecher, Trinkbecher für Kinder), aber zweckmäßig und man kommt zurecht. Der Pool hat unterschiedliche Tiefen 1m-1,90m, was für Nichtschwimmer toll ist. Der Hausbesitzer Gabriel stand uns bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.”

Very idyllic private villa set in a orange grove on the edge of a sleepy quiet town. The villa is very private with nothing around it and right on the outskirts of Muro town. It is situated on the top of a small hill so has great views of the island and mountains.
Muro is very quiet, a car is recommended to go to busy areas. The bus runs through town to Can Picafort which worked well for us.
The villa has great outdoor facilities and entertaining areas. the inside is pleasant and spacious. All bedrooms are a good size.
The kitchen is well equipped but the rest of the villa is a little lacking in terms of cleaning equipment and we had no spare toilet rolls, only 1 for a weeks stay.
The pool is a nice size and well maintained and has a good BBQ. There is a supermarket close by for supplies.
Its a great villa for a large group or family which doesn't need to get out much.

Pool was surprisingly smaller that we expected from the photos. Ample sunbeds and towels however only one small sunshade and strong winds almost all week rendered it unusable. We loaded the fridge in the indoor kitchen when we arrived only to find that there was an outdoor kitchen too. All cutlery, crockery, saucepans etc were outdoors. There was nothing indoors at all. The outdoor gas cooker, was unusable due to the winds, so we had to cook indoors but everything we needed was outdoors. Why do the owners not equip both kitchens? Cutlery was in a rather dirty plastic container. No bread knife, no salt, no pepper, only two capsules for the dishwasher, a small amount of washing up liquid. Nothing more. Nice seating area on the terrace. Bedrooms & bathrooms were really good but the beds were not comfortable.
