About this villa rental
The waterfall pool in front of Casa Dena by Akumal Direct Reservations gives you a relaxing area to lay out or keep cool, while enjoying the sights and sounds of the jungle surroundings. Located across from the 5m x 2m pool is the BBQ area where you can prepare your meal just the way you like it, with an easy to use gas grill and plenty of counter space. Parking, beach towels, purified water and professional cleaning service 6 days per week is included. Chef services are available for an additional fee. Please reach out to us for the menu.
The large granite kitchen area has everything you need to prepare meals, or let Armando and Daisy our live in cooks prepare you some of their favorite Mayan and Mexican dishes (additional fee). We suggest using Riviera Maya Groceries and having your fridge fully stocked upon arrival. Or go to Tulum to shop once you arrive. Enjoy the complimentary drinks, guacamole, and salsa prepared for your arrival and explore your new home away.
The living room was designed to flow with the kitchen and dining area keeping everyone involved in conversations throughout the home. The dining area seats eight with an additional six bar seats around the large kitchen island, or if you prefer you can take your meals outside to the patio and enjoy the ocean breeze while dining.
Casa Dena has three ocean facing master suites, all with king size beds. Bedroom four has two double beds for larger parties or makes a great room for the kids, with plenty of extra room for setting up the inflatable queen size mattress or our portable crib (available upon request). All bedrooms are air conditioned and have private marble baths and large balconies with full ocean views. AC in bedrooms only.

Relaxing at Casa Dena is made easy with several lounge chairs located on the pool and beach sides of the house. We also have a large palapa on the beach, which provides plenty of shade for taking a siesta in one of the colorful hammocks. On the roof we have designed a wonderful seating area for watching the sunrise, working on your tan, watching the millions of stars on a clear night, or throwing a great rooftop party.
Casa Dena is committed to making sure your Riviera Maya vacation the best it can possibly be. Daisy and Armando will make sure your vacation is everything you expect and more. If you need anything, just ask!

It was perfect for our family and there was room to spread out. The host was great and the view was even better. Be advised that Casa Dena is a 15 minute drive on a dirt road off the main highway.

Would highly recommend! Everything about this property screams perfection. The bedrooms are beautiful an all face the ocean, the kitchen is well equipped and is made for entertaining, the living room has plenty of comfortable seating, and the beach is peaceful and quiet.The grounds keeper and his wife are attentive and respectful. This property is a hidden gem.

The house was perfect for a family reunion, gathering three generations.Casa Dena has the perfect set up:
A master bedroom on the same level as the beach and common space.This was perfect for my parents who are in their eighties.
The two other master bedrooms on the first floor were great for my sister and I and our husbands. And the 4th bedroom accommodated our children. Each bedroom having a private bathroom is just wonderful for the privacy of all.
The view of the ocean ,with the long white sand beach is blissfull.Not to forget the hamacs which was my absolute perfect spot for reading and relaxing.
After going snorkeling and swiming to Soliman bay(short 5 minute walk) we enjoyed drinking our cocktails by the pool. For us having the pool in front of the house was a plus. It is surrounded by big palm trees and although the ocean view is marvellous,the pool side gives you a jungle feel. Everyone can find their spot to chill and relax.Even with a group of 10 + no one felt squeezed.I must not forget the roof patio that gives us a 360 degree view. Best place to watch the sun set.
Casa Dena is ideally located near Cenotes and just 15 minutes north of Tulum. So great to do some sightseeing.
Also having Armando and Daisy on site is a plus . They are very discreet but present if you need something. And let's not forget Lassy their adorable dog who is the perfect guardian and family pet.
