About this house rental
Tres Palmeras is a fabulous oceanfront property situated on the Caribbean Sea between Tankah & Solomon bay. The home is located just 7 miles north of the main city of Tulum. Close to all the action while also being just far enough away for a very quiet relaxing stay. The stretch of coral beach the property is located on is part of a protected turtle nesting ground. Located in the gated community of Tankah Tres, this beachfront home is the perfect place to kick back & relax. This home has four large en suite bedrooms, covered verandas, a large roof-top patio, ample space to lounge, and a stunning outdoor space with a beautiful pool, beach palapa with hammocks, private beach access & spectacular ocean views in every direction. The décor is calm, inviting and colorful. There are caretakers that live in the casita above the garage and will be there to provide daily housekeeping, pool maintenance and are available for cooking daily meals. It is the perfect vacation spot!

You have the unique opportunity while visiting our area to witness loggerhead and green sea turtles nesting and hatching from May through September. The rest of the year affords opportunities for some of the best bird watching, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, fishing and a host of other water sports.
The ruins on the Yucatan are a big attraction. Nearby, Tulum is one of the most scenic archeological sites in all of Mexico. Coba is only a 40 minute drive away, but well worth the visit. There are a number under fresh water centoes to explore in Quintana Roo. There is a beautiful one up the street called Casa Cenote that you can scuba dive, paddle board and kayak in.
Most of all kick back, relax and enjoy the beautiful Riviera Maya!
Caretakers will cook meals as requested. 24 hrs in advance needed so they can prepare. Meal Shopping is done for Requested Meals only, Caretakers to not shop for additional items.

We had a fabulous stay here in mid-April. Wil and Gloria keep the house and pool so neat and tidy. It was hot outside but cool and comfortable inside. They are always available if you need them and very gracious, but also respect your space. We did a lot of day trips so we were mostly out of the house morning to mid- afternoon. You need a car. It is a 10-15 minute ride to the main road and very bumpy. If you are comfortable with this, it is amazing because you can enjoy the nearby attractions and then go home to privacy and your own beach/pool. But, we did plan our days so we only had to make the trip once a day. We had a family of five at the beginning with every child with their own room. Then we had three more adults join and it was easy to switch rooms and combine to welcome more. The flexibility of the space is fantastic. We had wil and Gloria cook us three dinners and three breakfasts while we were there. All were fantastic and it was easy to chat with them and get recommendations. Wil has conversational English and if you need more detail, the host and the property manager are both available. But we were easily able to make it work with our conversational Spanish and Will’s English. We would highly recommend this space to families who are comfortable renting a car and making your own itinerary. It gives you the best of both worlds — attractions and events with privacy and your own beachfront villa.

Our stay was relaxing, stress free and a culinary delight. Caretakers Wilbert and his lovely wife Gloria treated us to the taste of Mexico. There were no disappointments whether they were preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner. Housekeeping was efficient and ground transportation was arranged by Wilbert so that our stay was effortless.Really GREAT time here!!!!

Beautiful property and views (especially sunrises). The seagrass is unfortunate (all over Tulum) but enjoyed our stay. House team is great, very helpful and gave us great suggestion for a private cenote tour on bikes. Pool is not heated if you go in cooler months. Definitely rent a car.

Once you arrive down a dirt road full of topos, you will find yourself at a magical oceanside villa. The property is well taken care of, and also well used. There were no real issues, but if you are looking for a resort level experience, this might not be your cup of tea.We were fortunate enough to se some sea turtles hatching! It was amazing.The on site managers were exceptional. Gloria and Will are the kindest people, and so accommodating.
