The wonderful Waterfall Pool in front of the house gives you a relaxing area to layout or keep cool, while you enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle surroundings. Located across from the pool is the BBQ area where you can prepare your meal just the way you like it, with an easy to use gas grill and plenty of counter space.
The large Granite kitchen area has everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, or let Armando and Daisy our live in cooks prepare you some of their best dishes. We suggest using Riviera Maya Groceries and have your fridge fully stocked upon arrival. Enjoy the complimentary drinks, guacamole, and salsa prepared for your arrival and explore your new home away.
The living room was designed to flow with the kitchen and dining area keeping everyone involved in conversations throughout the home. The dining area seats eight with an additional six bar seats around the large kitchen island, or if you prefer take your meal to the patio and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Casa Dena has three Master suites each with king size beds. Bedroom 4 has two double beds for larger parties or makes a great room for the kids, with plenty of extra room for setting up the inflatable mattress or our portable crib (available upon request). All bedrooms are air conditioned, with private Marble baths and large balconies with full Ocean Views.
Relaxing at Casa Dena is made easy with several lounge chairs located pool and beach side, a large Palapa on the beach provides plenty of shade for taking a siesta in one of the colorful hammocks. On the roof we have designed a wonderful seating area for watching the sunrise, working on your tan, stargazing, or throwing a roof party.

Casa Dena felt like home away. It was great for both the kids and adults. We were able to make our own food and also utilize Armando and Daisy to make us delicious food.
The ocean breeze/ front was the highlight for me!

Casa Dena is a lovely home that was a perfect way to spend time with friends for our 60th birthdays. It is located right on the beach, where we sat and watched the waves for hours on end. The home is well-appointed, with ocean views from every room. The caretakers, Armando and Daisy, were extremely attentive and prepared delicious meals for us. We felt like queens!
The only reason I gave the property four stars is because there was an intermittent problem with the electricity throughout our stay, resulting in a lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms and poor sleep. This issue was out of their control, as the entire area was being affected, but it did put a damper of our experience. There was a generator available and this was helpful, but could only be used a few hours a day and did not power the air conditioners.
Communication and responsiveness from the hosts were excellent. We especially appreciated that they provided us with a partial refund without hesitation.
I highly recommend this property for your trip to Tulum. Just check with them to ensure the area is no longer having problems with the electricity and it will be absolutely perfect!

Great place for 4 couples--good private and shared spaces. Loved being on the roof and eating breakfast outside. Enjoyed walking the beach & the hammocks on the beach. Very clean, felt very safe. And found a great restaurant down the road at the Alea Hotel. DEFINITELY need a car here, as most cool spots are 30-45+ min away.
Would suggest better quality on towels and linens, and more hanging hooks in bathrooms. Quality of chef cooked meals was OK, but nothing special.

Our stay at Casa Dena was fantastic. The house is very modern, comfortable and has incredible views. Armando and Daisy keep the grounds and house in great shape and order. They can prepare traditional meals with advance notice, which are just the right touch for a Mayan experience.
The location is perfect between Tulum and Alkmar. Tulum has the most amazing beaches, white sand and turquoise waters. Casa Dena is on the ocean with beautiful views and is very peaceful and quite.
We had a wonderful stay and plan to return as soon as possible.
