"Our Happy Place" is your happy place on Tybee Island! Perfectly situated on Tybee's North End, this beautiful 5-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom beach retreat features two levels of balconies with glimpses of the ocean and is only 1-block from beach access at Byers Street! Perfect for a getaway with family and friends, this vacation home features a private pool, an amazing game room with ping-pong, a large flat-screen TV, and more for endless fun right from your home-away-from-home!
The spacious open floor plan, located on the third level, features the living, kitchen, and dining areas, making for a great space to gather after a day on Tybee's North Beach! Enjoy access to the top-level covered deck, which offers partial views of the bay and includes a gas grill for cookouts with your vacation crew. The living area has a large flat-screen TV mounted over the decorative fireplace. Guests can enjoy cocktails overlooking the bay from the convenience of a built-in wet bar - complete with a wine cooler. Enjoy cooking and entertaining your guests in the fully equipped open-concept kitchen which has a gas stove, breakfast bar, and seating for four. The dining area of the home offers a table seating 6. With additional amenities like brand-new hardwood flooring and the TV's Bose sound system, you're guaranteed to make great memories.
The second floor boasts a modern primary suite with a king-sized bed and access to a wrap-around balcony offering partial views of the Savannah River. The ensuite bathroom features dual vanities, a whirlpool tub, and a spacious glass-enclosed shower with dual showerheads. Bedroom 2 is equipped with a Queen-sized bed. Bedroom 2 is accessible from both the hallway and through the primary suite, which has double doors for privacy. Bedroom 3 features a queen-sized bed. Both guest bedrooms have flat-screen TVs and convenient access to the second full guest bathroom nearby. The laundry room is also situated on this level.
There are 2 bedrooms on the ground level. Bedroom 4 is furnished with a Queen size bed and a TV. And Bedroom 5 has a twin bed with trundle. There is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground level. The garage area has been transformed into an entertainment area complete with games, a beverage fridge and a bar. There is a large flat-screen TV that has Roku for streaming. Challenge your friends to a game of Ping Pong or Darts! Parking is available for up to 4 cars in the driveway, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

Location of property was good-easy walk to the beach. My recommendations for the property would include updating the living room furniture as it was tired and used. The downstairs bathroom definitely needed upgrades to the shower. All showers needed a deep clean to remove the mold and mildrew. The kitchen sink requires a good cleaning to remove all the stains. Pool was very nice however recommend landscaper to weed and clean up the area. The front porch showed lots of wood rot at the top of the ceiling. This might be nit picky but for the price I would hope this would be taken care of.

In general, a nice place to stay. Quiet, lots of space, and very close to the beach. I have stayed at a lot of vacation homes so I have certain expectations. I might make a few suggestions or make sure future guests know what to expect.
The property was clean and some furniture was very nice such as the outdoor seating and beds were comfortable. However, the towels were small and not plentiful. Only 1 kitchen towel was provided. If you plan to stay for more than a few days, you will need to wash towels or don’t shower much or cook. You will only find 1 laundry packet. So, you may want to pack or purchase laundry detergent pods. Wonderful laundry room though.
If you are hoping for a whirlpool tub…keep hoping. The property advertised a whirlpool tub in the master but the jets are not functioning. The master closet needs a fresh coat of paint and the light did not work either.
The XBox in the gaming room would turn on but the remotes would not sync. I have two iGen kids so if they couldn’t get to working…that’s saying something. We did find several camp chairs and a beach cooler that could be used for beach days. That was a nice surprise.
Kitchen had lots of dishes and several needed items for big meals. The pantry had a juicer, ice cream machine, blender, and Tupperware. The ice maker kept up with our families ice needs. A large grill was also furnished. A couple repairs were needed though. The refrigerator door ice-water dispenser was broken, the kitchen sink faucet is loosely attached, and several bar stools are missing rungs. If you need plastic wrap or aluminum foil, pack your own- none on premise.
As long as you know that property has been well used, needs some repairs, and you have to bring/purchase all consumables- you will not be surprised. In summary, this property is nice but not memorable.
