6BR 6BA. Gulf Shores. Beachfront. Single level floorplan. Pool. Nice! Stand-alone, did we say beachfront!, home.... no sharing!
NEW DECKS. All over. Awesome. Even added a platform by the pool. Makes our sweet multilevel beachfront decks even more special!
The Egret is a spacious 6 bedroom and 6 bathroom house is located directly on the beach. It is completely furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen including a TWO refrigerators, a dishwasher and microwave. TWO fabulous Great rooms with vaulted ceilings provide plenty of gathering space. Lots of deck space too, both in the sun, and sheltered/covered!
Great stretch of the beach. Lots of space. Secluded. Dunes. Nice. Like having the beach to yourself, seriously!
And Egret has lots of deck space, both covered and open, so you can lounge in whatever environment you want! Sun, some sun, no sun. Up to you!

TWO LIVING ROOMS!
There's a living room in both the north and south wing of this great stand-alone home! How's that for spreading out. Not one, but two living rooms with coaches, TVs, and dining spaces. Separated by the kitchen area. How about a little divide and conquer during the vacay!
TWO REFRIGERATORS
Yes, two per side. Because... you need a lot of space for shrimp and beverages!
POOL? You bet!
Pool is under the home. A bit like an indoor pool. Big: 24x12x3-5 FT Rectangle! Great respite from hot hot hot, as well as inclement weather! Heatable too (nightly surcharge applies). Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge (varies by season and with gas market price, has been $60-85 per night, just inquire, and must be for length of stay (this is based on market pricing for propane gas, and can change at any time, both up and down, until added to a reservation). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a week before check in so we can get it on before you arrive.
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 8 cars. More if you park under them home and stack carefully.
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.
No smoking please. No pets.

Everything went very well! We had a great time. The weather was lovely for the whole week and the house was just right.

We had a whole family trip. We lost our Dad the week before the trip. We all came together to grieve and help each other through this difficult time. The house was great! Right on the beach, away from public beaches. The pool under the house was nice and cleaned everyday. The house was clean, 2 refrigerators in the kitchen, fully stocked kitchen. We would definitely go back!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Egret Beach House, especially the pool. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable which was reported to the management company, and they were to look into the problem. The layout of the house was very good for our family. We enjoyed the large area to sit, talk and play games.
