We stayed here recently and it was a cool little place. The kids enjoyed the bunk room upstairs.

Doug was super responsive, I had a few questions throughout the stay and he always responded promptly. The place is cozy and close to places we planed to go during the long weekend. For people who drives EV, there’s a Meijer near by with super charging stations that was a big plus and actually must for us :)

Overall it was a really good stay. However, one day due to the outside weather, our rooms were too hot to stay. We utilized all the portable fans provided but it took 4-5 hours to get to 70F. Otherthan that overall great experience.

Doug was a good host and keep us informed throughout the stay and always checking in. One thing to be aware of if renting. HOT HOT HOT. if you’re planning on going when it’s in the 80tys and up, plan on being miserable. There was 1 bedroom AC UNIT that keep that room cool. All other areas were 90ty plus degrees. There are fans but there’s no escaping the heat. I recommend more AC units, or room darking shades or window film. This would reduce the heat by 10/15 degrees. Doug said he’d pass that info along.
