The farmhouse decor with just enough chic styling combined with the wrap-around screened porch with double hanging daybeds makes this a home away from home that is perfect for you Smoky Mountain vacation. Gaze at the amazing mountain views of the Appalachian Trail as you soak in the private hot tub, or explore out and about. You are just 10 minutes to Fontana Village or 20 minutes to Bryson City or the Nantahala Outdoor Center. So whether you go to Fontana Dam, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, or the Tail of the Dragon, you are never straying far from this comfortable base camp. Or venture to Bryson City and ride the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, raft the Nantahala River, or soar one of the area zip lines. Every popular attraction is convenient since you are just off highway 28.
This home is newly remodeled with modern kitchen, stylish baths, and comfortable furnishing. There are 2 separate bedrooms (one king, one queen), and a sleeping bunk room (twin-over-full bunk; top bunk is kids only per weight limitations). The massive deck and private hot tub will offer plenty of family fun and mountain comfort for your next vacation in the North Carolina Smokies.

I would challenge you to find nicer mountain & valley views almost anywhere in the NC + TN area. This updated cabin showcases the Smoky Mountains beautifully. Sadly, it wasn't as clean as it should've been.

So upon entering the cabin I was overall pleased with the location, set up and Christmas ambience. I was not pleased to find long globs of hair strung across the shower wall. The following day a pipe busted, which I understand unexpected things but it also meant family had to leave early due to the time frame and having 7 people needing water to start the day. We tried to also book things with the explorium that was advertised, but the Biltmore was booked until Jan 5th and the only other option was a train ride that started at 9am, so it was a bit disheartening to hear things that are “included” overall the property choice was a good selection but not much else.
