About this cabin rental
This lovely new 3 bedroom 2 bath home is located MINUTES from The Biltmore Estate, Asheville Outlets, Blue Ridge Parkway, Bent Creek and Downtown, but still has the feeling of a private wooded environment . Enjoy the view of the mountains with a horse farm in the backdrop and the occasional family of deer crossing the path, while sipping your coffee on the covered porch in the pristine forest location. Nicely appointed home features comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, wi-fi and 65” tv. If you an outdoor enthusiast, you will love the hiking, mountain biking, road biking, kayaking, white water rafting, snow skiing and horseback riding just minutes from the cabin. Asheville has a strong tradition of street performance and outdoor music, including festivals, such as Bele Chere and the Lexington Avenue Arts & Fun Festival (LAAFF). One event is "Shindig on the Green," which happens Saturday nights during July and August on City/County Plaza. By tradition, the Shindig starts "along about sundown" and features local bluegrass bands and dance teams on stage, and informal jam sessions under the trees surrounding the County Courthouse. The "Mountain Dance & Folk Festival" started in 1928 by Bascom Lamar Lunsford is said to be the first event ever labeled a "Folk Festival". Another popular outdoor music event is "Downtown After 5," a monthly concert series held from 5 pm till 9 pm that hosts popular touring musicians as well as local acts. A regular drum circle, organized by residents in Pritchard Park, is open to all and has been a popular local activity every Friday evening.

The check in and information concerning the cabin was good. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the floors and the condition of the hot tub. We entered the cabin with wet shoes (from the rain) and when we wiped the floor to dry it, the towels came up filthy. The hot tub would not maintain a warm temperature, it was only 92 degrees, The cover was internally broken and white styrofoam chunks were floating in the tub. P.S. I complained (off the record) last year about the hot tub cover being broken in another cabin, obviously it didn't matter.

The property was beautiful. Great location. Some frustration with cleanliness when we got there. Drain in master shower was completely plugged. My husband cleaned it out with a needle nose pliers. One of the beds had not been changed. Gritty dirt in the sheets on the first night but washer and dryer allowed us to wash them

We very much enjoyed the location's mountain scenery and central proximity for our planned activities. everything we planned was within 20 - 30 minutes of our cabin. We spent time in Asheville (River Art District, Biltmore, Grove Park Inn), hiked Graveyard Fields and Fryingpan Lookout, horseback riding in the state forest, beer at Sierra Nevada. Overall an excellent time! Only downsides were scarce cooking utensils and a charcoal, not gas grill, but no charcoal provided. We managed fine.

It was very clean. I was also impressed that they had name brand paper towels and toilet paper (the little things make a big difference). There was graham crackers, chocolate bars and marshmallow to make smores! I would highly recommend staying in this house/cabin.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely cabin! It was well-appointed and cozy, with a great location - close to Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate, but still far enough out that it’s very quiet. The kitchen was well-equipped with almost everything you could need and the home was very spacious. On the whole, the house and linens were very clean, but there were some issues with the cleanliness under the beds (we found a bread roll that was not ours), of some dishes, and the washing machine. We did take advantage of the hot tub that was extremely clean and wonderful. All-in-all we would definitely stay again and appreciate the hosts for the use of their home! Thank you!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet. The cabin is indeed a double-wide trailer as others have mentioned and did need some maintenance such as fixing some broken slats on blinds, the faucets squeak with each turn, and many of the doors have to be propped open to stay open. But, it was very close to everything and the boys loved playing in the woods. The hot tub was nice on a chilly night once warmed up and the firepit was fun for smores if you dare to light a fire with dry leaves everywhere.
We couldn't find a lockbox with physical keys as instructed, so had to use the door keypad the whole stay, which worked fine.
Overall it was a nice stay, especially for what we paid.

Our family very much enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for us our pup. Cabin is clean and comfortable. Boys loved exploring and the sound of the wind in the trees. Just secluded enough for you to forget how close you are to whatever you need. About 15 minutes to downtown Asheville and an hour to chimney rock. Gravel driveway-highly recommend bigger vehicle which would be suitable for this part of the mountains anyway. Thank you for sharing your place! Hope to come again.

This is a property where 5 people can comfortably sleep. It's very quiet and idyllic, and about 20 min drive from Asheville downtown. It has all the appliances you can wish for and is quite spacey, with a lovely shady porch. The directions and check-in details were well communicated and we really enjoyed our stay.
